@Introspective91 Even though tax loopholes for foreign businesses may have been supported by both parties before the dems decided to use the earmarks that paid for the loop holes to pay for the 9/11 responders bill. Charges of international support can sink a candidates chances of being elected.

Anyone be they a democrat, green, independent, or libertarian running against a republican, should remind the voters the republicans held this bill up for a compromise before they would help pass it. The risk is republicans seem to be able to get by with the charge that other are using the events of 9/11 for political purpose, while they themselves can do so without consequences.
