i was exactly these kids' age when this was on pbs and loved lambchop (and care bears). i was really lucky, but lamb chop is so positive and sincere that it's still totally fresh even if you're just now discovering it. i mean shari lewis had been doing the character since the late 1950s, god bless her.

I absolutely ADORE the way Shari "gets ready" to use her CUTE voice when she sings the GET YOUR TEDDY READY song. You can tell right before she starts singing that she GEARS UP to use the cute voice and unleash it on everyone. Get ready ! Be cute! LOVE IT!
