The MD-11 is so visually stunning. I wish TriJets were still a necessity, Twins are great.. but the 727, DC-10, L-1011, and all the other three-holers were pieces of art.

Nice Video mcpc. Not as rare a sighting as some would have us believe is it . At least twice a week. And in this day and age that is quite good business. lol

Not sure about this one I have to say. It looks a little ungainly to me. But no less of an aircraft for that.

I hate the MD-11 I think its a very dangerous aircraft. The number of times its ended up upside down is concerning. It should be grounded.

They are piles of crap. I don't know how they ever got certified. Some of the most unreliable, most crash prone models have the DC or MD prefix.

It's interesting now that Boeing seems to be infected by the McDonnell Douglas take over. Their 787 and 747-8 has been plagued with problems from design issues to assembly/ramp up problems.
