  • badass dude...

  • On the contrary style always matters. a few small trinkets eyes and biting are not universal because in the land of the blind the one eye is king Also a real JuJutsu practitioner never fights

  • I really like many of these tactics etc. and I think if you are well practiced in it, they can be highly effective and easy to make, but I dont know if Im just fantazing but the only punches I see are swingers? (from the side),they take more time, but if someone stands directly in front of you,and he hits really fast and straight on, then this is of course still effective, but much more difficult, and I would like to see this used against a fast boxer who is tricking and protecting body and face

  • nice vid , deffo make more man

  • Who wins the street fight? Its not about the style, but the person who is fighting. The one who is willing to do what it takes, like destroying the eyes, bite his throat etc etc going to win. Style doesnt matter

  • this is my sport !!!!

  • this is standard japanese jiu jitsu. Good stuff. Its not for tournaments its for survival.

  • this is not jiu jitsu this is Aikido and Aikido can't do shit to jiu jitsu

  • I want to know, how the belt system works. Like it goes from your lowest level to your absolute highest. If you can send me a pic or something showing me, it would be greatly appreciated.

    OSU

  • If you search this art's history, you'll find that it's founder Moses Powell Learned Jujutsu from Professor Florendo Visitacion who studied Small Circle Jujutsu under Professor Wally Jay (its founder) who learned Judo & Jujutsu from Dan Zan Ryu Jujutsu Founder Henry Okazaki who was the first to introduce Jujutsu to americans. if you trace most of the Arts like Vee-Jitsu, Sanuces, & lots of other Martial Arts Systems, you'll find they Spawned From Okazaki's System.

  • Actually Professor Vee studied Jujustu under Kiyose Nakae(spelling?), author of the book Jiu jitsu Complete. He developed a close FRIENDSHIP with Wally Jay, but as far as training under him, I don't think so.

  • the system goes from white yellow orange green blue brown black black 1st till 12d dan

  • Dr.Moses Powell was the Mentor of my shihan, He always talks bout him and how great he was

  • Great to see you doing your thing my brother. Keep up the good work. Grandmaster Tony Mayo. Check out me videos under my name and elite force combat

  • Shout to My Father Anton Muhammad This Khalid Kick ya'll monkey a#$ if ya'll try this movement Mose' Powell created

  • I am a mixed martial artist whos been training for 4 years. I train in 3 styles(Jui Jitsui, Muay Thai and Submission Wrestling). I am really impressed with this martial artist because its so different from how I train. I like the complexity but I see the simplicity in each movement. It makes sense. I wouldn't mess with him. Ooosh!

  • "MPA2000 (4 months ago) Okay. I wanted to add my 10cents. Stuff like this looks good as demo, but let's see how the Master fares in an MMA ring?...." real talk- that MMA stuff has a lot of rules, too many rules! Sanuces is the real deal. No bells and whistles. Asswhoopology. This aint no sport. This is life or death. Do I get home or do I not. Survival. Sanuces aint entertainment like the MMA stuff and we see from a different paradigm. That is, if you ask me.

  • nice stuff.

    any more?

  • Okay. I wanted to add my 10cents. Stuff like this looks good as demo, but let's see how the Master fares in an MMA ring?

  • the question is: how will an MMA fighter fare against a jiu jitsu master on the street?

no gloves, no ring, no ref, no rules, no whitness.

how will he fight when he has fingers throug eyes, broken windpipes, clothing strangulation and ripped out balls to worry about?

  • An MMA fighter would have a really hard time fighting a Jiu jitsu black belt on the street... jiu jitsu would take him to the ground where the mma fighter is use to going with minimal clothing and would end up beaten and bloody

  • Good Job Anton... (smile)! Master Don Parker (Executive Self Defense) ESD! Keep the legacy "Alive"! I'll Check with you later...Also call me ...got a project for us! You know the number!

    OOOSSH !!!

  • Where exactly is the ground fighting part at?

  • Tooooo complicated. In a real street fight I would just elbow and move on. This looks like somethin out of a Steven Segal movie.

  • No you wouldn't. Trust me.

  • Complicated if you watch only video reflex if you train. oooSSh

  • Is this jiu jitsu? And if it is what kind is it,does somebody know? This black guy seems to wear Aikido cloths and has some moves too?Is there somebody that can maybe post some good inf0?

  • If by "Aikido clothes" you mean the hakama. Those are not "Aikido clothes" the hakama is a Japanese garment, worn by practitioners of Aikido, Aikijutsu, Jujutsu, Kendo, Kenjutsu, Iiado, Iaijutsu...do I need to continue?

The style of jiu jitsu is V.A.S.K. ryu. Just read the info to the right of the video. :)

  • Why do I never hear of this stuff except for on Youtube? No academies, no dojos to train at in anywhere I lived before. Where are these guys at?

  • What we are seeing is self-defense at its best. That is what it is, it is not a style designed for combat in a ring, but for self defense on the streets, such as your other traditional styles.

  • Solid, nice. I like how the instructor worked the jaw hinge and the filtrum and septum.., guessing that he torqued the nose cartillage also; it's hard to see but hurts nasty and if very effective. Good Stuff!

  • good technicks, from an authentic master

at least tens of years of hard wor.ty 4 shareing

  • Who punches like that!? I reccomend you try that at any ranke bjj gym in the country! Hell come to nashville! i would love to see this stuff! lol

  • Dr Powell was and still is an inspiration. A national treasure!

  • Unnecessarily overcomplicated.

  • One problem I have:

It's too complicated for the ordinary student to follow without constantly having to check to see how the next move is done. I have studying martial arts for 15 years now- and I found this is often the case. The best session I did was at Aberdeen University with Dr Keith Santagata of the LAPD self defense school. We spent three hours learning exactly where to put your foot, knee, fist to bring the bugger down.

Incredibly simple and yet devestatingly effective.

  • W.O.W. -----------

  • the techniques shown here are good for defense in the street not mma fighting.

  • if it doesn´t work in mma fighting it won´t work on the streets!!

  • so if i knife hand you in the throat or rip your balls out, it wont work?

  • now ask yourself which of the two is more important -_-

  • whats all that about hand over mouth thing ?

i would bite his fingers off

  • His finger are covering your mounth, your lips are pressed against your teeth, if you managed to bite before you pass out you would only bite the inside of your mounth, then passout.

  • The hand is over both mouth and nose unless your opponent can opt to breath throuh his ears its a sofication techinique. His hand is pressed against your lips your lips are pressed to against your teeth if you were able to bite past your own lips his hand is still vertical nothing to bite. Try to bite a door knob and you might do it then try to bite a wall; just an example.

  • You can't buy his fingers off if you're asleep.

  • I see many holes in your techniques. I've trained at Gracie for 4 years & had some kickboxing/grappling experience before that. Your opponents aren't just going to stand there to wait for your techniques. I fought against an aikido/judo practitioner & won within 4 minutes. He was too idle. Keep that in mind.

  • Judo is sport BJJ is sport aikido is non agressive. This is jujitsu. Its only demo'ed because it cant be tapered down into a sport, the hold back is for the uki's safety. Only 4 years it shows, you miss so much look a little harder, you stop your learning if you think you have arived 4 year is only enough to say your a beginner ready to being training.

  • that's how yall got it fucked up. he's not teaching for the sake of fighting to hurt someone else. he's teaching self defense; to keep the average muthafucka off of you. so what if you see holes in his techniques. people see holes in MMA. so what?

  • An individual should never explain "holes" in a style unless they realize their own faults. Kickboxing/grappling and expecially Gracie practitioners should easily know that. as far as an opponent standing there, if you cant understand the fluidity of an art, and the deception in its movement then youll never understand why it is PRACTICED in such a way.

  • Yea! I see what you're saying but I think its all about your own application. You can be a black belt in Gracie Juijitsu but if your techniques aren't second nature you can be beaten by an amatuer street fighter with more strength.

  • No shit sherlock which is why you actually move fast when doing those techniques.....I can't believe you wouldn't use your brain to see that I guess you haven't done shit and also with some strikes they paralyze your opponents for a lil while

  • Well did you learn in your training pressure points that disorient your opponent. Dr. Powell was in Atlanta when five younger guys attacked him. He put two in the hospital and and the other three ran away. Sanuces is designed for what to do in the first five seconds of a fight to quickly and brutally lay him or them out. There is no time especially if you're fighting multiple assailants to roll around on the floor with somebody while his friends are jump in.

  • Good Demo! Oss.

  • Verry nice and a verry Good Master. respekt 4 that.

  • Have you ever tested your technique in the mma ring?

  • Not everything is made for contest fighting plenty style are made for self defense in the street D: I'd rather take somethin that helped my ass stay alive rather then beat someone in a match

  • Pretty smooth flow of technique. Enjoyed the demo.

  • in 2.00 he is tapping himself wat good is that if he is looking somewhere else or can see ur hands tap ur sensei or partner

  • tapping yourself does make a sound ya know....retard cough

  • The follow up techniques are nice but it would be a much better demo if the opponent attackid in a right way. Either use a straight punch or a hook, don't swing with a straight arm. They make it too easy for him to do his technique.

  • dat waz mad coolz datz sum real trainin

  • how is their take down defense?

  • if you take down someone, you can finish them off. I don't take this style but I take a style of karate that teaches you to block, take down, and finish off you're attacker. you can do that by breaking off their arm, hitting them with a blow to the chin, neck, kidney area. anywhere man, once your opponent is down. some people can faint if they are taken down and some people won't but as long as you've got control of them, you have the advantage over them.

  • You know, I wouldn't be surprised if this instructor teaches some of these techniques to police officers. Seems like some stuff that would be useful for that.

  • That guy is very good. I like those techniques he teaches.

  • i don´t zhink that you can use that on the street but it´s better than judo. a good karateka would make him go down!

  • Just so you know, He is a good karateka. I've trained with him and bear witness to his skill as a student of Dr. Moses Powell. I don't know what you people expect from a demo but if you doubt his ablity, VISIT HIS DOJO!

  • USH

  • nice smooth attacks and techniques and stuff...however i dont think much of this stuff will work in a actual combat in realtime. however i do have to give props as far as techniques being clean...

  • the CIA and FBI disagree wtih you AND i DISAGREE WITH YOU as a grand student of Dr. Powell I can attest..It's Real !

  • Why does everyone want to see blood when an instructor is demonstrating a technique. If you attack me for real,

I will defend myself for real. I see no need for an instructor to destroy his Uki by asking him to attack for real

just to prove to someone watching in there living room that the technique works. This UFC stuff is clouding some minds.

  • In the lab everything is nice and easy...i'm not saying that the Sensei is poor, on the contrary. Those Karate attacks that sucked. REALLY sucked...

  • Those attacks were not karate attacks at all.

  • Easy and with effect!!! Good!!!

  • COOL & interesting..

  • he's good.

  • mang this guy is good!

  • Interesting.
