  • I've seen the destruction and inconvenience that these storms have brought to the denizens of the Northeast, and I assure you that you'll continue to remain ensconced in my thoughts and prayers. Brutal, brutal weather.

Fortunately, outside of cleanup, it was all over when I posted this. I was very late, due to 4 days of no power.

  • At least I'm safe in Florida, but other people had to seek emergency shelters.

  • @MegaZeldafan1

You have those HUGE hurricanes. We get hurricanes as well, but they're usually minimal, or Cat 2's. The Hurricane of 1938 was a rare 3.

  • Ultimately... my neighbors (street behind me) and all surrounding streets have lost power for 5 days and counting, BUT all I lost is... TV/Internet/Phone for 2 days.

  • @elevatorsonly

Lucky you. :) I actually had a working internet connection, but the modem uses electricity, with killed that.

  • @georgef551 I had to go to Methuen to use internet.

  • @elevatorsonly

I got you beat there, I just had to go acrosss the street, behind the house.

  • @georgef551 LOL

  • did you catch the lightning in Worcester? (or however it's spelled)

  • @ElevatorsandAlarms

Was it lightning? It's very poissible that there could've been a thundersnow, as it was forcasted. People thought it was the same here, but red, orange, blue, green isn't lightning.

  • @georgef551 It was a thundersnow. the lightning struck between 7-7:30 or 9-10.

  • @ElevatorsandAlarms

    I believe it.
