Doesn't matter how it sounds bro, recording is so difficult, the really important thing here is the amazing arrrangement you give to the keyboard solos and your awesome playing...
tone is pretty weak and flimsy. use amp sims and good impulses if you don't. (i've heard way way worse though)
The overall playing was good.
Only other thing I'd recommend is to learn more about mixing.
The first main flaw I noticed was the lack of equalization. In some parts, things are fighting for space and the rhythm guitars are very muddy. The palm mutes go all over the 0-50hz range. Put a fair high pass on your guitar tracks to avoid them from clashing with the bass.
@emcitement Thanks for the critique I appreciate it! I'm new to mixing so yes there is a lot of things that I could have done differently, my tone is something that I'm working on improving. I've heard of amp sims but have never tried them, maybe you can reccomend me a good tutorial? Thanks again!
@drpez12 Of course. You're headed in the right direction though. Everything still sounds fine for listening to. So it isn't necessarily bad. (There's just always things we can improve on)
It's rather tricky to get a good digital guitar tone (especially for leads) but it definitely can be done with ampsims.
I know you use UG so search for UG's guide to vst amp simulation. It's in the recordings section.
It can teach you the very basics. (But there's way more to do after!)

@drpez12 I don't recall saying I was a man. It isn't too hard to get going really. The guide is pretty simple and works well.

@drpez12 Is this at the same tempo as the one I recorded? if so, could I grab your guitar tracks and mix a live-guitar version?
