Cultists. Religious fanatics and dangerous ones at that. The Green Fascist movement has "improved" my life by making me pay significantly more to fuel my car and heat my house using the fraudulent anthropogenic climate change as an excuse. On the other hand, their spokesperson declared that high levels of the extremely toxic hexavalent chromium found in Haulbowline are "no risk" and their TDs were part of the government that gave us Carranstown incinerator. Phony environmentalists the lot of em.
@sullivan912 I think you'll find that the Green Carbon Tax, which is used to fund the warmer homes scheme for the most vulnerable, is responsible for less than 3% of the cost of fuel.
global warming is not real ! just another stupid made up story so they can introduce carbon tax for the whole world and make a few people at the top rich .
I love it when the head-in-the-sand homophobic flat-earth CO2-doesn't-absorb-infrared-radiation brigade find Green videos. They always make the Greens look so good.
i sincerely hope ye dont get a single seat...ye tried to screw over farmers every chance ye got..farming and food are gonna get this country out of its mess...and ye try to put us out of business....a big 2 fingers to the lot of ye
Managed to watch about five seconds of this. Will try again. But, um, OK, so he has a nice job in the country: and that's supposed to make us feel good? It makes me feel patronised, personally.
What a load of trolling bollox. It's very obvious to everyone that you're not even bothering to watch the clip and are just regurgitating whatever anti-Green lies the IFA and IBEC (See Sunday tribune article from two weeks ago on their lies) are feeding you via the Indo. if you had watched the video, you might know something about the Greens' home insualtion / warmer homes scheme, just to name one thing that disproves your point.
All the Green Party has ever done is come along after Fianna Fail has pick the adverage Joe's pockets dry and then the Greens turn Joe upside down and shook him by the ankles to make sure he had no pennies left in his pockets that he was hoping to keep for something silly like food or heating or something stupid along those lines.
YOUR GOING TO BE ANNIHALATED IN THE ELECTIONS HAAA!
you wont be getting into any coaltion government ,you probably wont get any seats ,your party support is null and people know that you were part of the shambles of a government that has ruined this country yet you think your going to be given second chances ?? hahaha
@ironbar100 What is untrue is the statement that the country has never been as dirty. Also your assertion that having extra bin trucks visiting neighbourhoods and thus allowing compostable and recyclable waste to be collected, has a net negative effect on the environment. If you have any data that shows that the extra emmissions from each extra truck outweighs the environmental benefits of composting, recycling and reducing waste, I am very interested in reading it and being corrected.
@Heahmount Are you criticising yourself for accusing something else of being rubbish? Your comment doesn't make sense. Again, what part of the video do you have trouble with? I will provide evidence to support it. Also, you are repeating yourself without replying to any of the criticisms and corrections that I made previously. If you want to discuss this, have a read of the articles I told you about an lets discuss them and see where we disagree. You may be shocked by what you read.
Really professionally made video. Love the sound and the in/out focus effect. Is it done by the same people who did the party political TV ad in 2007? I am a green supporter so it's encouraging to see a good ad.
@Heahmount What exact part of this video or the other videos is rubbish? Give a description or the video time and I will provide you with evidence that shows it is true. These are people whose lives have benefited from Green policies while in Government. They are representative of more people who benefit from the long list of Green Party achievements on their website.
Regarding Eamon Ryan, the Financial Times has an interesting article on him that, given your words, you may find shocking.
@ironbar100 The only thing true about your statement is the introduction of Black (General Waste) Green (Non-Glass Recyclables) and Brown (Compost) bins. This system has not yet been introduced everywhere, but where it has, people have been able to reduce their waste bills by putting out Black bins less often and recycling and composting more of their household waste. This has had the added benefit of contributing to the resource security of the country and reduce international fines.
All these scumbags produced while they were in government was more taxes on an all ready suffering nation. They done nothing that was beneficial to the irish citizen. They go out of their way to find new ways of taxing us under the guise of defending against the carbon footprint. The scientific fact is that the planet hasn't increased in temperature since '96 and when they could have helped us by dissolving the government and giving us the election we wanted they held out for 2 more years. SCUM!
@mogadishusneeze Not true: The video above shows that the Greens quite clearly did many things that are beneficial to the Irish people. Green taxation polices have also benefited the most vulnerable members of society as Carbon levies etc. can be used to fund the expansion of the already highly successful home insulation scheme (See Video above and Energy video). Regarding "scientific fact": Globally, the 10 hottest years on record have all occurred since 1998, 2005 the hottest.
@glontore Absolute Bollocks! Where's your scientific proof. What about the recently intercepted emails from the 'scientific experts' in the US telling each other to cover up the fact that their research has been found to be groundless. Same as when they used to talk shite about the hole in the ozone layer. it turned out to be a completely natural occurence. I can't wait for a green candidate to come canvassing at my door. It'll be the last place the cunt will be seen.
Have a look at those bastions of communist propaganda, The Financial Times and The Economist. Read the write up on Eamon Ryan and Irish Green Policy in the FT. Green taxation policy has meant that Irish people pay less for their energy and heating. It has also meant that Ireland has a more secure energy supply, one with less spikes in price.
Or of course, you could just keep your head in the Indo, and read articles about fantasy new Green taxes that even the AA come out and say are untrue.
@Heahmount What are you on about? The only accurate point you made is that there's an election on the 25th! We're a laughing stock because up to 2007, the Greens were the only ones putting forward policies that would have prevented the property bubble mess. They BROUGHT THOSE CHANGES IN IN GOVT! Look at the dodgy land deals that FG and FF are trying in South Dublin this year. The only thing stopping them now is Green policy!
HAHAHA, There is a GOD!!!
The Greens have been obliterated, now fuck off and never darken this island with your scummy shadows again!

@glontore 50 cents on the cost of a bale of briquettes, for instance, is not 3% or anything near it. Pull the other one, greeny.
