this guy misses the mark completely. He points out small discrepancies and things you can argue with a Jehovahs Witness all day. Bottom line is: they deny the divinity of Jesus Christ. This is why they are wrong. I don't care about what the Watchtower said 30 years ago or if it was a cross or a stake. The problem is that they need the Gospel, which is the power of God unto salvation! Jesus ALONE is our portion and we are saved by GRACE through FAITH. These are things the JW's do not believe.

@Jack9th No Because there was alot of things i was mis-informed about. And if there are here and there a couple of "overly fanatic" JW's in wich religion isnt there. People will be people, the focus of the organization is a personal relationship between the person and Jehova god. No priest should be used to ask for forgiveness for us, no specific prayers to pray to god, it has to be personal, as if he was a real person. I now knowing have answered this guys questions with the bible.
I think I will take my chances with reading the bible and making my own decisions about what message is being sent to me. The bible doesn't advocate the formation of a church, only the gathering of two or more together allowing free discourse on the SCRIPTURES with God blessing them with his presence. they also don't rely on their brothers to help pay for anyting (because we're all brothers), it is all done by donations and other honest monetary ways, nobody that teaches in the kingdom hall gets paid for anything that they do. You must really irritate the witnesses. They probably avoid this site because you have to hit a nerve. The witnesses have trouble seeing the truth because the Watchtower Society forbids them from making an examination of religious material except that material that comes from the Watchtower Society. For a witness to do so can be a disfellowshipping offense.

A stake and not a cross, but the funnest one was when i read in the Watchtower magazine that Leviathan was a train. Or when one of the teams told me that Yeshua was Apollyon, who is clearly Satan. Your right, stauros′ means upright stake, or pole. If you are quoting Classical Greek which predates the NT by some 300 years. The NT was written in koine Greek. Romans didn't crucify people in 300 BC, so the word changed over time.

People will be people, the focus of the organization is a personal relationship between the person and Jehova god. No priest should be used to ask for forgiveness for us, no specific prayers to pray to god, it has to be personal, as if he was a real person. I think I will take my chances with reading the bible and making my own decisions about what message is being sent to me. The bible doesn't advocate the formation of a church, only the gathering of two or more together allowing free discourse on the SCRIPTURES with God blessing them with his presence. It doesn't mention any needed publications. You know why? Because you don't need them to understand the bible!

A stake and not a cross, but the funnest one was when i read in the Watchtower magazine that Leviathan was a train. Or when one of the teams told me that Yeshua was Apollyon, who is clearly Satan. But they do have some good ideas, it was the JW's that exalted Mary to her rightful place. I is JW that first discussed the real birthday of Yeshua. And that Father never told us to celebrate the birthday of Yeshua, or ourselves. They brought much heat to the Paganism of the so called Mother church.

Acts 15:20 is very clear, it says among other things: Abstain from blood. Look it up. We all want to live, and enjoy life. Jehovah’s Witnesses spent over $141 million a year in caring for the special pioneers, missionaries, and traveling overseers in their field service assignments all around the world (no secular job just fulltime ministry). All this by pressureless voluntary donations. Where else can you find that? Your misconceptions are absolutely not based on facts but on what you WANT believe.

Okay the last thing: Thomas said (John 20:25): “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails and stick my finger into the print of the nails and stick my hand into his side, I will certainly not believe.” He wants to stick his finger into THE PRINT of the NAILS, not one of the prints of the nails. So apparently multiple nails can make one print, i mean im just 18 but I CAN read and reason, ur a 40 or so year old,i hate witnesses guy. Please just stop and take up your study.

Ill keep it short: try imitate Jesus Christ and judge when the true colors are shown, when the light is brighter than the beginning. so the more recent times were the distinctions are clearer!

The Bible states that why the harvesting of the weath and removal and burning of the weeds ought to take place at the end of their growth cuz in the beginning they would resemble each other too much. also, i believe that this church, though not alone, had been infilltrated by people who did not uphold its core beiliefs, as well being influenced outside by other people who wish it and its doctirnes ill. Therefore, begining it's sway from the truth and its changes in its original beliefs, also with the use of a helpful interrpretation of the bible, though honest & innocent at first & helpful, over time missused, etc...

Jesus, is "as" the "arch angel - micheal". The arch angel micheal is "representative" of "the" chruch. Jesus is head of "the" chruch, therefore ~ people get things mixed up sometimes when they don't take in2 account a fuller understanding of things.

Also, Jesus Christ may have been nailed to the torture stake (GREEK- 'stau‧ros′ which primarily denotes an upright stake, or pole) using Nails (PLURAL) since the single beam would have wide enough to nail both hands. It should be noted that the pictures the Watchtower use are merely to ILLUSTRATE the event- Next you'll be arguing that Jesus had blue eyes and the Watchtower 'depict' them as brown! Ludicrous!

Your right, stauros′ means upright stake, or pole. If you are quoting Classical Greek which predates the NT by some 300 years. The NT was written in koine Greek. Romans didn't crucify people in 300 BC, so the word changed over time.
WT knows this, but are misleading you.
2nd. "merely to ILLUSTRATE" They present this picture as historical proof.
3rd. Mt 27:37 says that the sign was placed over his "head" not his hands.
4th. Mk 15:27 uses the Gk word "yooonoomos" Lit means."left hand".

3rd: The sign was above his head. There is no disputing that fact. However it would be foolish to assert that since the writer did not say the sign was above His hands that the conclusion is that He was therefore cruxified.
4th: That merely indicates the robbers position relative to Jesus. Your right hand is still your right even if it beside or joined to your left. Another petty & futile defence for the doctrine of the crucifixion.

In Matt 25:33 The very same greek words are being used. dexios-right hand and yooonoomos--left hand.
dexios in greek can translate as right hand.
"and he will put the sheep at his right hand--[dexios] and the goats at the left."
Vs.42."Then he will say to those at his left hand." yooonoomos.
You have Christ's hands above his head. We have just what the Bible says is happening. Mk 14:27 "one on his right and one on his left.

@mkwatson92 In reply to the greek stauros meaning of "stake", you can't take that as a only to mean a pole. In the same way as NWT puts Jehovah into the new testament where it is NOT in the original scriptures by explaining that some later translations have this, a later translation from greek to Latin (Vulgate) translates stauros into cross (crux) because he was closer to the original. Was there a greek word for cross at all? Yes, stauros. And to be literal, it is not TORTURE stake, just stake.

It is much more likely to be a stake or tree (single beam) that Christ was tortured upon rather than a cross.

Ok, Ex 24:5-7 is a direct order from God on how to cleanse the alter before sacrifice. They must place the blood of the sacrifice (before they kill it) on all four courners of the alter. What was Christ's alter then? You have him being killed on a two sided pole.

You can say that. If you mean the Father. Yes. God declaired to Israel on how to preform a sacrifice. it is this kind of order in which the universe is run. God spoke the Law (Exodus 20:1-17) Therefore, the Law is in the heart of God and is a reflection of God's character since it is Holy and good. (Rom. 7:12) Jesus became sin for us and bore our sins in His body on the cross, thus fulfilling the Law. 2 Cor. 5:21. So yes, you can say that the Father decreed the way in which his Son would die.

It's an old argument, the word used in the original manuscripts of the bible is translated to english as hand. The original word indiciated the hands and wrists as one word. Therefore the nails were driver through Jesus's wrists, to support the weight, but translated into english as hands.

i am aware that the angel of Adonai talked about all throughout the tanakh, especially shoftim (judges) is yeshua. however, i do not believe that Yeshua is Mikha'el. Mikha'el is the highest of angels. but i do not accept that he is Adonai. humans can behold angels but they can not behold Adonai without being consumed. Yet michael apperas several times to people. then how can he be Adonai? honestly i think it is one of those misteries that we will not know until we join Adonai.

Mikha'el in Hebrew means "Like YAH" or "Like EL" and there is only ONE person that is Like His Father, "YAHUSHUA HA MOSHIACH" the scriptures in Daniel 12 is talking about Mikha'el the Arc Angel, it is broken up like this..
Arc means Ultmate
Angel means messanger
and Mikha'el - "Like EL"
now we know what it means when they say "Arc Angel Mikha'el"
