I think Will's advice is good to an extent. The repetition would be a great addition but the poetry should stay. Of course he doesn't say those things to his girlfriend - that's why it's a song! You generally say things in music that you can't say to the person in real life.

Music is about expressing your true self and emotion, not having a typical conversation.

some of us actually like landon and how his music is a form of art. he makes beautiful poetry and if you fill a song with repetitiveness it ruins it. it completely cuts out the chunks that someone might love so much. the reason i like landons music is because hes different. so please dont try and turn him into some pop-industry-force-fed-cookie-­cutter-crap. hes original nd thats why he so good.

Will.I.Am isn't the right genre. His suggestions are good, but it would make the song more into his style. Landon's style is to mesmerize you with words and lyrics. Will's style is to hit you with the beat. They are both good in their own nature, but Will.I.Am is not the right person to be critiquing one of Landon Austin's songs.

I agree with Ntin63.... The way the song was written is amazing the way it is. Personally, I probably wouldn't listen to will.I.am's version because it would bore me with so much repetition. And he shouldn't criticize the poetic words and say that the lyrics should be more strait foreword. To me, a song is meant to say something in a beautiful, majestic way. I think the song is really gentle and subtly brilliant right now, and it doesn't need a Will.I.Am style hook to be good. I think he's looking for a different style of music. The song is poetic, and it's pretty damn amazing without repetitive hooks. It's perfectly simple and doesn't need anything else. Landon, you're doing an awesome job, keep going!

I disagree with what he says about "pounding" the audience in the head with one line...that's not a good musician. a good musician (and poet) comes up with several good lines instead of having one good line repeated until it becomes so overused that it becomes a bad line. From the music of yours that I've listened to, you're a good musician (and poet :P). keep it up!
