No mate, you're right, these are just workouts set up with ab specific or other exercises that offer a quick intense workout using Tabata Timing but focusing on abs etc...the intensity on this approach comes when you do additional circuits. Think of these as plug in workouts or finisher workouts for abs and core. Stick in a few more circuits, you'll feel it. i thought the tabata protocol was suppose to be maximum intensity for 20 seconds. i was thinking of hard cardio like sprinting or cycling. these exercises aren't very intense, at least not cardiovascularly intense. am i missing something?
