How did it effect the subways? They hit the towers. Not the subway. That makes no sense. And What about phones? They didn't hit anything phone related. Unless the WTC were giving out phone service? O.o I've had a power line get smashed down like a block away and my phones were fine.

expedience is the astronomical amount of 'PUT OPTION" bet on the airline stocks and other reinsurance company stocks

Anyway, here's the reality--those buildings were constructed to withstand such things--Thermate melted the pillars which otherwise would not have--so pfft to your smart ass comment--I was only having a diff of opinion--How did they take tower 7 down? They predicted the collapse? Who is 'THEY' exactly? And when did the fire department become experts on predicting the time and place of steel structures collapsing? Especially considering this hadn't ever happened before.

But, the real issue here is the BBC having foreknowledge of a 'future, extremely unlikely event' . Something akin to the New Zealand Herald reporting on the capture of L. H. Oswald before he was even named as a suspect.

The NYFD predicted the collapse -- its their job and their judgment call. and ALL the NYFD brass agreed, pull back the teams, the building is in danger of collapse.

The BBC did not have foreknowledge, they got the story wrong. Same thing happend when Reagan was shot in 1980 -- the news networks announced Brady had been killed, which he was not.

In danger of collapse is one thing. Collapsing ON QUE is very much another thing altogether. The problem is that more than one person was captured on video instructing the crowd to get back as the building was about to 'blow'. So they moved back, and low and behold, it then went 'bang', right on Que.

Yeah, it just fell down. Sure it did.

Before the collapse, the building started to lean slightly off its axis, this was a sign that collapse was immenent- given the confusion and emotions of the day, its likely that many people got the warning and did not understand, confusing collapse warnings with demolition. Since the day, not one single NYFD commander has come forward with any statement that WTC 7 was not what it was reported to be - a building collapse.

If it was seen to be leaning before it collapsed then the fact that it then fell symmetrically is absolutely astonishing. In fact it's virtually impossible. It didn't fall over, it fell down. Straight down.
