Jeff Buckley is playing an Egyption bowed instrument called an essrage in this track, she invited him to play along with her band, as it was rocorded at the same sessions as beneath the southern cross. referenced from david browns book - dream brother - the lives and music of tim and jeff buckley
@rimbaud108 That may be true.. but in this circumstance, it was an EGYPTION essrage.. And the significance of that is was an EGYPTION instrument is profound.. just look at them both ! i think they know that they belonged to the same spiritual family.. they knew who they once were and are.....
@goblu91 Whats your point ? we already done discussed that. Lets celebrate Jeff and Patti playing ere together !.. i'll tell ya sumn for nuthing - as far as past lifes and spriritual familys go - it aint about india. it about Egypt, Byblos and phoenicia. i was only quoteing david browne. and damn it they do have egyption essrages, go do ya homework.

@LoveforGia There isn't a such thing as an Egyptian Essrage. David Browne had it mistaken. It is called an "Esraj" and it's an indian instrument.

The rythm is so erotic, feels like dancing with knives in hands. Its a pitty she seems never be able to arrive at the end....
