That's the point! Much of the movie is over the top, and this part is supposed to be even more so; it's in the first five minutes of the film and helps set up the character's expectations. Things get ever so slightly more believable directly afterward. :-)

John Powell is the bomb at fast-paced action music. Just listen to the change in atmosphere at 0:58, when the scale moves up to something brighter and the strings sweep up and down. It's brilliant way of capturing the innocent triumph of that particular moment.

I agree. I practically despise Miley Cyrus, but I went and saw the movie nonetheless, and I wasn't disappointed in the least. You focus more on the characters themselves than who is behind the voice. Bolt didn't necessarily have the constant knee-slapping humor that Pixar always creates [ie - Finding Nemo], but it had its moments and was still very cute.

The only thing I have a problem with are the idiots who say 'I'm not seeing this film because Miley Cyrus is in it'. Uh, okay? I'm not a fan of Miley either, but that's no reason to boycott a movie.

I have read about the Behind the scenes of doing Bolt from the Walt Disney Company.

The people who said Pixar may have something to do with the Disney company animation...they did!

Disney animation studios asked John Lasseter, the head of Pixar, to assist Disney on making Bolt a CGI animated movie.

Thanks to the Pixar guy John, Bolt turned out to be a movie of AWESOMENESS and the colors and design really stand out!

So can't wait to see this movie.
