It's about reconnecting with nature and living a natural, balanced life. It's in the title because the Daodejing is a principle text for people that follow "the way."

I am younger than you but I also share many of your interests such as wisdom from books, I particularly studied Qigong, a type of meditation about a year and a half ago, and it is great for regulating one's internal chi or energy. Although I don't agree with all of chinese/buddhist/daoist teachings, there is much to learn from.

Many pain killers, sleeping pills, and etc contain very similiar chemicals to drugs like heroin. Look at Nicotine, it's more addictive than crystal meth, yet legal.
