The next day, a listener, Greg Garabedian, e-mailed Handel, requesting an apology for the remarks he made. While Handel read the letter aloud, his 25-year-old BOARD OPERATOR Lara Hermanson, added that "what the Turks started, Bill will finish," referencing the Armenian Genocide. KFI AM 640 Program Director Robin Bertolucci apologized, as will Bill on June 12th.

The meeting was civil, successful and fruitful. The ambitous protest, that many angry folks were planning to attend, is no longer necessary.
