Actually her real name is, if my memory serves me right .. Melissa Garcia... She was known for a time as Melissa G in the dance scene. I went to middle school with her in Diamond Bar, at the time this movie came out. She was younger than me. Lots of Hollywood/Actor kids back then came from Diamond Bar. However, I thought at the time, Mayim and Melissa really looked alike. Not sure way Mayim got it. She sure did have a great voice though, didn't she!

I LOVE this scene. There are so many things that are kind of wrong in it. CC is leaning in a seductive opening pose while wearing a somewhat trampy costume, the pianist's bra strap is showing, Mrs. Bloom's cleavage is hanging out, and the old man is digging in his teeth.
