  • Excellent and Inspiring

  • wow, you're a pretty fast walker.

  • Great vid. Its 99% patience 1% technique!

  • as soon as i heard pacience i was like not for me then

  • Common sense always tells me exactly what you have said in your video, then I lose patience after five hours of waiting then as soon as I move , stand up , I scare off an animal that was close but not close enough to see from the position I was in.

Its a bummer but how long do you wait ? From dawn till dusk, yeah probably.... But thats real patience.

  • This is something people who don't do it don't understand. I took my wife with me once and within 30 minutes she was getting antsy, wanting to walk around. I of course obliged but laughed and told here I normally don't move from my spot for 8-12 hours, depending on the day, and what I'm trying to get.

    Great video!

  • Which videohead you recommend for video recording with telephoto lenses: Gimbal Head or Video head? I'm ready to spent enough money to get propper head, but I'm not ready to buy two heads. What videohead do you recommend?

  • Excellent videos and advice.

  • wow! it is really interesting to watch how wild life photographer work!!

  • Too much of a mouth talk, very little Pro. shooting.

  • hi guys, Im an amateur photographer looking to get into wildlife photography. What would you suggest is the best way to go about learning tips and testing out equip and lens etc...

  • hey iam max and i love wild life photografie you're videos are really cool +++ can you say me what the best 70-200 lens is for the canon eos 7d thanke you!!!

  • Bill Murray? really......your a fag!

  • Hey Bill Murray what are you doing?

  • wot lens is he using?

  • Canon 500mm F4

  • he said that buck, thats the money, where did you get the money to buy that camera, tripod, and the lens like 15,000 dollars all together. or even more.

  • hes a pro?

  • I want that tripod soooo bad but I can't afford it :-(

  • Probably a 40D. It has 10 megapixels and is pretty fast at 6 fps but thats nothing compared to the speed of the mark 3......

  • If you have any sense on DSLRs you would know that it is a 1DMK2.

  • its a mk3, he says it at 3:00

and the shutter sound overlayed when the photos are playing is a mk3 :)

  • @JWK35

Nope, It's a mk 3. You can see that by the position of the buttons :-)

  • I laughed. It's a Mark 3.

  • Yes, I also prefer carving my own!

  • Does anybody know the name of the song at the beginning?

  • He probably bought the rights to the song to use on his video only.....so you probably can't find it.........

  • I just found a new role model for photography

  • Great video, Michael and the rest of the crew! You guys do it again and again, composing amazing wild shots and informative videos, i love it! This really has gotten me into wildlife photography, thank you for showing us!

  • i meant to say in my video

  • i live right by a refuge that i go to all the time. i will spend a whole day at the refuge. some times i get a photograph when my mom drives me in to the refuge like the deer photograph that you can see in the video.some times my mom drives me around the refuge all day until i wants to go home.

  • I can watch this over and over again without getting bored...just awesome! Very inspiring! Your best video by far!

I did the same thing today, in an area that I know very well since childhood, photographing roe deer. I would like this to be my daily job...in the meanwhile, just a few days a year!

  • troppo forte la volpe e il rapace

  • Nice video

  • Sorry, don't agree. Apart from the AI servo issue in some early bodies, the MarkIII, combined with a suitable (large) lens, is about the best tool for wildlife photography: high frame rate, high ISO capability, awesome file quality.

  • stop arguing and enjoy the video. any camera can capture a great image if it's used correctly for the moment..

  • Agreed^

    Stop arguing about the camera.

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT KIND OF CAMERA YOU HAVE, IT'S HOW *YOU* USE IT TO GET THE PERFECT SHOT.

  • that's true because i have a Nikon d60 with a 18 to 55 mm lens and a 55 to 200 mm lens. i have shot some good photographs. you can see some of my photographs in one of my videos.

  • makes perfect sense. 10 fps! either way great video, very inspiring

  • very good job thanks for the vid

  • Nice it's my dream job too;);)

  • great, great, great!!! it's mai dream job!

  • awesome!!!
