I think the pace is just right. Never been in battle myself, but someone described a battlefield along the lines of "miles and miles of not much happening at all, people just standing around and waiting, but in one little corner somewhere there's insane, fast and bloody action going on."

That give a strange idea of the war... Slowy (not like blitzkrieg) There is more death trees than soldiers killed... if the war could be like that!!

You are right, i did want the action to start slowly. This part is one of six videos about the Invasion of France and the Battle of Dunkirch. If you like action, more and more action can be seen in the following Dunkirch-videos 2-6. Finally the seventh video "The Battle of Dunkirch" is a pure-action video combined with some scenes out of the part 1-6.
