Hey I dont mind watching raiders. They are fun to watch for some comedy relief; kind of like the Washington Generals of the NFL. But whats the deal with their fans? actually the term Raider Nation has been around since the early 80's when the Raiders moved to LA and people from Oakland would follow them, and in turn across the nation. The term Red Sox Nation didn't come until 1986 during the World Series and wasn't popular until 1996.
So by history Raider Nation pre-dates Red Sox Nation.
