When we are talking about Turbos and Supercharger! -The challenger is also supercharged and have also 500hp more than the original version. And every serial model from BMW with original engine from 116hp to 360hp beat always every serial challenger in the top speed, also the topmodel with a hemi. The americans always talking about 1/4 mile! -1/4 mile is not all !! A muscle car vs. a "high quality german ride" on a really race track , NO CHANCE !!!

The bmw its running twin turbos, the challenger just a 440 or 383, plus the challenger is 40yrs older and running a carb. A blown hemi would punish that bmw. But your wrong this is a cool,powerful car with attitude vs just a german pile.

@68chargerlover -This challenger is also definitely charged! Where do the 1000hp? There are different supercharger in different sizes!! Must not necessarily sticking out of the hood. What?Original 40 years old drag racing tyres in xxl size? This car with this chassis and that power is definitely tuned for drag races. 99% of the muscle cars with this age have to be completely restored and revised. There are perhaps 10" challenger worldwide, which are original and absolutely untouched.

There are no specs on the cars or qualifications of the drivers so saying which car is better is ridiculous, and so is saying who makes better cars. American and German cars are the best cars made, that being said the different auto manufacturers don't have the same goals(other than selling cars) when it comes to how they design and manufacture their cars. Especially in German many high end luxury cars were and are made for the autobahn. regardless both are cool cars.

We are talking here about drag races. And no, a BMW can never beat a muscle car in a straight line (only if it has much more performance - like in this case). And about the "muscle cars are good only in straight line", I've heard this thing many times, and it's not true. I've seen Mustangs drift like RX7 and Silvias, etc. , Hemi Cudas competing with Lamborghinis on track and other examples.

In Africa I guess they aren't because of their price ... A good example is Sweden. They can achieve performance even without the help of turbos and chargers, but if you want to take it to the next level you will want to put those on. Even BMWs, Toyotas, etc. have turbos and chargers on it so this is not an excuse to not put them on muscle cars. Nitro is a bit extreme for a muscle car, but if you like to ride in a rocket then it's good.
