This wasn't the first time Dr. Inferno Jr. won a fight it nowhere near deserved. I still remember his battle with Blade Runner in Season 3.

inferno definitely deserved to win that, you can't award WOD points for being driven over. The judges probably took the fact that WOD is more agile then inferno into account.

A wedge bot cannot receive points for being driven over? Was the wedge bot sitting still when it was driven over or was it attacking? The bigger point that you clearly missed is that DIJ is a skirted wedge bot and WoD was driving under its wedge. Also of note is that WoD would drive with DIJ on its back which demonstrates that DIJ is not driving over WoD but that WoD is getting under DIJ. That means WoD is attacking and is beating DIJ's defense. How does that not score points?

It's pretty obvious why inferno won, the entire match was them shoving each other around and hitting the hazards a couple of times up until the end. In other words it was more or less equal towards the end with neither showing any real damage, that is until wedge started smoking. Wedge was the only one with any clear damage at the end of the fight. Deal with it.

@HisRoyalDudeliness i do agree with the judges decisions although wedge of doom did do alot of the shoving, but the smoke was what kill wedges chances of winning

If i was WOD, I would have held the arm up to clamp a better hold on the Doctor. He would have had an easier time pushing him around.

so what did tony buchan say afterwards? it seemed to me the only time dr. inferno jr had any control of the match was the last 30 seconds of the figh when wedge of doom was going in circles but even though dr. inferno didn't do much but ram him. wod was under him the entire match.
