When you have a very fast car, you can spin the tires and then the car very easily. The Viper was well-known for people crashing it right after they buy it as they are leaving the dealership . In a very fast RWD car, punch the accelerator and if the front wheels aren't perfectly straight (if you are in any kind of turn) you will spin out. I had a car that I could spin the back wheels by punching it hard at 100 mph, even with new tires (the biggest tires you could get without getting slicks).

Carry a hazard-warning triangle in your car, van & 4WD at *all* times, hazard warning lights don't work around blind corners/curves or over crests.

How do you crash when you're going that slow? I can understand getting a 'vette a little sideways, I've done that accidentally myself...just don't understand why you'd take out your frustration by ramming a tree...Poor tree.

When you have a very fast car, you can spin the tires and then the car very easily. The Viper was well-known for people crashing it right after they buy it as they are leaving the dealership . In a very fast RWD car, punch the accelerator and if the front wheels aren't perfectly straight (if you are in any kind of turn) you will spin out. I had a car that I could spin the back wheels by punching it hard at 100 mph, even with new tires (the biggest tires you could get without getting slicks).

You aren't going to change the fact that some people are passionate about driving,you cant confine that to a track. Safety and good judgment must be exercised while doing anything,fast driving doesn't always mean unsafe driving. Senior citizens drive slow and they are some of the most unsafe drivers on the road.

I agree, senior citizens shit me to tears, They complain about modified cars being dangerous I dont see whats so bad about new lower centre of gravity suspension and a brake upgrade, with mags and new tyres, but old farts in old carts hook up caravans which reduces handling, braking and rear view sight,put their spectacles on and hit the road.

Young people and teens have the majority because our driver training is EXTREMELY lax in the US. And what gives you the right to call me a moron,you don't know me or how I conduct myself. Low speed limits cater to those who feel it necessary to talk on the phone,READ,text,check makeup etc. The united states's speed limits were set during the fuel crisis of the 1970's,how logical are outdated driving laws?

Point #1: yes, driver training should more closely follow what it takes to be a pilot. You are the type of person who figures if you cant stop someone, then why try to, that makes you a moron. Want to drive fast? Take it to the track. The simple fact is that slowing down increases safety. Higher limits could be had safely but we would need better roads/cars/drivers. Instead we have morons in shitbox cars going too fast. I slow down knowing I can better avoid an accident, as well as survive.

oh, and speed limits HAVE changed since the 70s, they were stuck at 55 for years as a nationwide maximum, that has been eliminated and now states control the speed limit. Many states have 75mph limits these days. Do your research.

thats right, here in europe i had to answer 50 theoritical questions and 40 needed to be right answered. i had 43/50. now the practical i heard its awfully hard here to. you also MUST learn with a manual gearbox here. i heared most people in the United States are using automatics.

Stupid Corvette... Roads like this are made for All Wheel Drive vehicles, or a car with decent 4 Wheel Management Computerization... Not for a Stupid Slap a V8 in a cheap fiberglass car, and sell it to the market for stupid like this can crash it... Oh and Corvette's like the Z06, and ZR1 wouldnt do any better on a road like this, Why? because it has way to much power for anyone, to say that they can control it, unless your a race car driver. Speed doesnt kill, bad driving and oblivious other drivers do. Especially those on the phone while driving. Of course speeding isnt the best thing to do, but its speeding in places where its bad to do so that causes accidents.
Look at the autobahn, it actually has a lesser death and accident rate per mile compared to our interstate system. Its rules, regulations, and skilled drivers that save lives.
The best driver is a properly experienced driver!

actually no it's all about knowing how to handle ur vehicle and easing into the faster speeds there's some dumbass ppl out there that they play NFS and just go buy a mustang GT and they start hauling ass in it the first day and they don't know anything about the car..good drivers need to know how to handle there car, know how to make the little turns in the road when speeding and can't over turn or you'll lose it....it's all about control and experience.

Carry a hazard-warning triangle in your car, van & 4WD at *all* times, hazard warning lights don't work around blind corners/curves or over crests.
The EU/UN Spec warning triangle (UNECE 27Regulation in Transport) is a much better product in performance than the North American/Australian market specification rubbish,- for such purposes.
