You know, I haven't made up my mind yet... my issues are essentially lower taxes, less government regulation, and national security... if B. Hussein Obama has successfully convinced me by election day that he's the best guy for these issues, he's got my vote.
Sen. Obama has raised millions of cash for his campaign compared to Mccain's puny ~$80 million from public financing. So many people are losing homes and jobs. Prices are high and bills are increasing. Meanwhile, OBAMA IS SPENDING MILLIONS ON COMMERCIALS AND ALSO THE HALF HOUR PRIME TIME SLOT IN CBS. AS A CHANGE AGENT, AS A NEW KIND OF POLITICIAN, CAN'T HE CONTRIBUTE ATLEAST SOME MILLIONS TO STRUGGLING PEOPLE AROUND THIS COUNTRY ?. WE DON'T NEED A HALF HOUR SPEECH ON ECONOMY...WE NEED RELIEF !!
The simple fact is McCain is the guy who warned the taxpayers and tried to stop the problem we have today. He is the guy who can fix it as president. That is what he has been saying all along.
Fannie and freddie oversight is what caused the problem. Obama and chris dodd were on the payroll.
Washington Post - Congratulations Taxpayers, you are now the proud owners of a debt-stapped insurance company! Not this bitch! I haven't paid taxes for 8 years. Can't wait for them to come and arrest me. Before my homies call my attorney, they are going to call every media source in my state. Yep, MY money is not going to support this bullshit or the war. Bring it on!
McCain had the biggest banking/wallstreet deregulator, Sen. Phil Gramm, as his head economics adviser. McCain has always believed in deregulation- even calling himself a "deregulatory hawk." He fired Gramm. Now McCain wants to change wallstreet w/ regulation & oversight.
If McCain had flipped on deregulation to regulation SOONER and followed Obama in pressing for more regulation & oversight, we might not be in the mess we are in now. (BTW Phil Gramm also known for creating the "enron loophole")
I am not sure where you are getting your information, but McCain has NEVER wanted "REGULATION". He is just saying that now. He has flipped so many times just in the past 3 weeks, it is truly laughable. You can put away the history books on this issue. Bush and friends saw this coming and did nothing and McCain was right there and did nothing! So don't feed this bullshit to us. The GOP has always wanted to run amuck with $! Obama - 2008
Obama and Biden are up in the Zogby/Reuters and Gallup polls. This is great news but no surprise. Not all Americans are brainwashable sheeple. They really will vote on issues--and the economy is taking us down into hell. No more Palin.
Obama needs us and we him. Let's do all we can to get him elected. Word out! Word up! Feet out! Let's hit the pavement, pick up a phone or open our wallets--heck, I'm broke but went into some credit debt for the man. Help us Obi-Wan Obama. You're our only hope!
again, two years of nothing, but wait, short on gas, higher health care cost, oh, but we must have a hearing on Karl Rove, and more to come of nothing mrscorie!!!!!

Let me remind you that the Dems didn't take control of the Senate until winter of 06. So the republicans had control of the senate before that and we all know it takes longer to clean up then to mess up.
If i remember correctly, dems have house and senate. Oh, but wait a minute, they have been busy with issues like, impeachment, focusing on Palin husband, hearing about nothing, that's what we have to look forward too, Nothing!!!!!
wait a minute... is he talking about creating jobs? doesnt he want to increase taxes on the small business in the country. what has this guy done except do a good job of selling himself to dems who have been so bitter for 8 years
Obama, Washington is controlled by Democrats. The Executive branch is the only branch of government that is controled by Republicans. Obama states he will create jobs but fails to say where. These jobs are across the US border when the tax increases forces them elsewhere.
Over the past decade, total government spending (state, local and federal) has increased from $2.9 trillion to an astonishing $5.1 trillion in 2008. The $3.1 trillion federal budget submitted by President Bush for 2009 is greater than the combined 1998 spending of the federal government, all 50 states and over 87,000 local governments.
The government cannot continue spending at this rate if America is to remain competitive in the global marketplace.
Be careful what you wish for... I don't want the change "NO"bama is talking about. Do you know how much all the hand outs he is offering will cost this country, including the average citizen? Why would he want to penalize businesses and corporations large or small with tax increases? I don't know about anyone else but I never got a paycheck from a poor person. Businesses will just pass that cost on to the public.... and it will cost us all more including jobs.
don't blame me, i voted for McCain
