I noticed you subscribed to my videos of Hillsville and surrounding area and i checked out your "Pelican" video. Loved it! Your story reminded me of a phrase in another Kenny song .. Don't Blink ... "Take every breathe God gives you for what it's worth". So much truth in that song!

Are pelicans normally this tame ?

Most tend to think they rule the world. Either they could care less what people do or they get snappy and try to steal fish or bait from fishermen! I've never been able to get this close to one before without it snapping at me, though.  This pelican looked very relaxed, but he was still keeping his eyes on me. :)
