  • The new Smurfs movie was like this. As I posted earlier my favorite character was Clumsy Smurf, and in the movie he was still my favorite character. I started liking Brainy halfway through the movie. The best line was Smurfette's "I kissed a smurf and I liked it." LOL

  • @Markel1970A

The Smurfs Movie stinks and doesn't even come close to the cartoon show.

  • My favorite character was Clumsy.

  • Now this is the intro I remember!

  • I don't remember a lot of the Smurfs, but wasn't there an episode where one of the smurfs fell in love with a mermaid?

  • @ztslovebird Handy's sweatheart was the episode.

  • I was never a big fan of the Smurfs but watching this and remembering back in the day takes me to a warmer, better place and time.

  • Do you have the closing credits for season 8 of the smurfs?

  • @jmjfanss I have if you want me to upload them.

  • @ChrisDilke

Yes do that, Please Upload all 9 seasons of the smurfs closing credits.

I Still love the smurfs when I Was just a little kid, it's a sad shame tv is not as good as used to be.

  • @jmjfanss Well I don't have, or know, every single variation of the closing credits, I have some versions where the credits are the exact same, but with different backing music. I'll put together all the ones I have into one video for you, and will let you know when it's done. It will definitely include the Season 8 credits.

  • @ChrisDilke

Please thank you, your too kind.

It's a shame that TV's not as good as it used to be.

  • @jmjfanss You got that right. And when it comes to cartoons, the 80s definitely had some of the best of them, and I think shows such as The Smurfs have stood the test of time and remained appealing for all audiences. I have loved it since I was a kid and at 21 years old I still love watching it to this day. Not sure how I feel about the upcoming Smurfs movie, but the cartoon is a timeless classic.

  • @ChrisDilke

Please download both the openings and closings of the smurfs.

  • @ChrisDilke ah but is that really because its stood the test of time or nostalgia? id say go show it to a 5 year old today and see if they can still watch and enjoy it like i did when i was little kid....just because you remember somthing being great doesnt mean its a classic ya know times change

  • Even though season 8 was cut short by a cartoonists' strike, this is my favorite season. I someone could upload some episodes from season 8...Nanny Smurf was my favorite from that season, and Smoogle was cute! Seasons 6 to 9 of the Smurfs were the greatest cartoons ever made!

  • This is probably my favourite intro for the Smurfs, and the one I remember the most. I gew up being addicted to the Smurfs as a kid, and I remember having this intro on a video I had, the only video I could find at the time. I had that video for about 6 months and then I lent it to someone and never got it back! Thanks for uploading this, really brings back memories!

  • I vaguely remember this intro - but the season 2-7 one was by far my favorite.

  • I don't thin SMURFS season 8 was ever in syndication.

  • @67nairb no, neither CN in the U.S. or Boomerang in the U.S. has ever reran any of the post-Season 7 episodes.

  • @megamanj2004X Why?

  • @67nairb b/c for some reason which I don't know why they only have the lease for the 1st 7 seasons and none for the last 2 seasons.

Hell, even Boomernag in the U.K. and Australia showed Seasons 8 and 9.

  • @megamanj2004X Thanks for the info.

  • This is the first intro that i watched from

    the smurfs!

I didn't know this intro was from season 8

but i do know that i watched this intro

    first time on cartoon network

back in 1999 it's syndicated version.

  • I Also wish you transfer this into HD.

  • I Wish you have more season 1 to season 9 intros of the smurfs, plus closing credits from all of the seasons.

  • @jmjfanss i agree. at least they have the original openings so far on the DVD issues, but still show that stupid syndicated opening on Boomerang

  • @newstart2009

But sadly, you have to wait for season 3 to season 9 for a while.
