Witness Lee is the founder of the Lord's Recovery cult. He claims to be a Trinitarian but in reality he is a Oneness modalist who combines Trinitarianism with modalism believeing Jesus and the Spirit as one Person. Now, no orthodox Trinitarian will believe that, not even hank Hanegraaff, Gretchen Passantino, and the Fuller Theological Seminary people. But I wonder, really wonder, why they supported Witness Lee's teachings. Are they not aware of Lee's statement or they are just deceived?

I'm a young person in Lord's Recovery, but we were never tought that Lord's recovery is the only true church or anything. We were tought that every children of God are part of the Church which includes Protestant/denomination.

Hi this is to reply to message below me. There is no misunderstanding on what recovery people believe. I think few people doubt that you love Jesus or that you believe that bible is true. That's not the issue. The problem is that recovery brothers are the ones who create division by indirectly or directly claiming to be the only true church and accusing other churhes of being false. People who are in authority also believe in using secular courts to settle theology

Please be aware that the group calling themselves are an UnBiblical organization. Some call them a cult for various reason. But most importantly they believe in the incorrect teaching that one can be saved only in their church, but not in others. They also do not believe that God is three persons, God, Son, Holy Spirit. They say that its wrong to call the meeting place of believers anything other than "church of Christ" yet for tax puposes they file under a unique name. Please be thorough!

1. Please don't call me "dear" its condescending and I dont know if whoever is are "my brothers" because I am not sure they believe the correct way.

2. There is only one church. Absolutely right. That doesn't mean that THE church has to meet in only one building, OR call themselves LORDS RECOVERY, or believe Witness Lee's writings. or use the Recovery Version of the Bible.

3. You also have to believe in a Father, Son, and the Holy Spirity, as 3 unique but one persons of God.

I think there may be some misunderstanding, but I'd just like to state our items of the faith, which should be common to all believers.

1.the Bible: We believe bible is the complete divine revlation, inspired by God as the breath of God. It is complete and infallible.

2. God: God is uniquely one, yet triune - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spiirt.

3. Christ - the Son of God, even God Himself, was incarnated to be a man by the name of Jesus Christ. This One is both God and man.

4. Christ's work, Christ died for our sin,shedding His blood for our redemption, He rose from the dead for our regeneration and asended to the right hand of God to be Lord of all.Christ is coming again to receive all believers to Himself.

5. our Salvation: a sinner must repent to God and believed into Christ to be a child of God, our salvation is through faith in Christ

6. the Church, composed of all genuine believes in Christ, as body of God, is univerally one and locally one for his expression
