  • .... it's not working

  • y bring necrosis not that mesmer 1?

  • and btw if ur mesmer u needed to took power spike so u can interrup hes bear form skill

  • he alrdy did u idiot lmfao look he interupted it

  • u can't take power spike, its interrupting a spell, not a form.

  • r u dumb or what do u even play GW cuz u can interrupt (bear form) (im GangstaKaly btw)

  • done this one with my assassin easyly i got a crit defence build so the warriors were no problem at all

  • Yeah, it looks to me like he casts bear form earlier. He used to not cast it until you started casting something on him, but now he casts it when you are still a ways away. Meh.

  • ye they nerfed it, ritualists were beating it as they spawned spirits then attacked. they made it so the foe attacks straight away, doesn't wait.

  • ritualist can still beat him it's pretty easy.

  • Anyone try this lately? Looks like they nerfed the build. Bison seems to cast bear form quicker, and when I try to interrupt it, I mess up the second assassin.

I will keep trying, but I am not having any luck currently.

  • u should try spirit spammer and cast the spirits at sporn... so u will beat the bison quickly :D

  • nice build CUDOS :) and thanks for the nice post on my build for Norn.

  • I used ignorance.. worked like a charm. Just make sure you keep it on him all the time tho

  • Yeah, I can beat him now, but it's tricky. He kills both sins, and comes after me after purging.

Perhaps that extra slot could be used for ineptitude or complicate? The latter is a general interrupt that could be useful in any situation, especially against any signet users.

Another useful one would be Parasitic Bond. Degen plus Health, cheap, and low recharge

  • For non-Istan characters, they can do the quest "A Land of Heroes", and abandon it at the end. It gives about 550 sunspear points, which makes rank six in two tries (about 10-20 minutes each). If you are tricky, you can run it a third time when your SSPts are just below 1000, giving your character a lead to the next rank. Look up the quest on GuildWiki for more info.

A rank of 6 will do 70 damage. I think that might be enough. I'll let you know how it turns out

  • BTW, currently Shrinking Armor is a waste of a slot. On Bison it only functions as a lure to get him to use up his purge signet before you hex him with Enfeeble and Insidious. That is a slot I can play around with for e-management or possible more damage.

  • :(

I forgot about sunspear requirements for Necrosis.

What if you use Signet of Illusions for the Necrosis spells?

I am using 3 radiant insignias, 2 rune of attunements and a +20 energy staff. I have not put e-management into the build as the total energy was enough to cast the build.

I am going out for the day, but will try again tonight to see if I can change the build to use something other than necrosis and maybe some e-management if energy is a problem.

  • BTW, I meant I lose to Bison. I have little if any trouble getting to him.

  • This build only works consistently if you have max (or at least high) sunspear titles. I am a measely rank 1, and I get my but kicked 9/10 times. If my 2-3 Necrosis did double damage, I would be winning consistently

    What you using for energy?
