  • @lovebeingaries Change the colour mode back to Grayscale and then back to RGB mode.

  • thank you!

  • nice work!!! I really like your tutorial technique and shortness of the vid...

  • Ok. so now how can I actually work on that bitmap.. when its locked :S

  • @ninachiflada reconvert to grayscale 1 to 1 ratio then back to rgb and you can do anything with it you'd like

  • lost in thought by jon hopkins

  • OR you can greyscale it, then go to filter, then pixelate, then color halftone.

    works like a charm.

  • hey man! i love it thanks for your video man its great! God bless!

  • Thanks for showing us many choices to do halftones! Great video!

  • THANKS!!! :)

  • THank you for your tutorial!!!!!!! You're awesome!

  • thanks

  • whats the name of this amazing song? btw thanks for the tutorial.....now i dont need to buy corel draw for one function LOL

  • This song is Lost in thought by Jon Hopkins how SaviorOfSpiders sayd.

  • So is this good for screen printing shirts?

OH yah what version is that photoshop?

  • can somebody please tell me how to change the colour of the pattern?

  • One (of many) ways to do it would be to make sure you set the colours back to RGB (Image > Mode > RGB).

Then make a new "solid colour" layer in the colour you want (or overlay the original colour photo) and set it to the blend mode "Screen".

    Hope that helps.

  • I want to know how to change the bitmap extension... and that didn't help at all :S I can't access to the RGB settings because it's not available, so I can't work on this image anymore :(

  • @rainbowalike you have to reconvert to grayscale first then rgb, then select the dot pattern and fill with any color you like

  • Lost in thought Jon Hopkins is the tune... Shazam!

  • thank you, it worked a charm.

  • I can do the first few changes but after it is halftone I can not access any of the drop down menus as they are all greyed out. HELP

  • It's mostly likely the Color Mode. Make sure you set it back to RGB.

Image > Mode > RGB Color

  • ha great dude..I needed to make this so badly, thanks

  • Whats the name of this song? I love it.

  • Is there an easy way to do this in colours?

  • Yes - Filter > Pixelate > Color Halftone

Radius is the size of the circles then set all the channels to 0 offset.

If you want all the circles as vectors try a search for "rasterbator", which is all online. If you have Illustrator, look for "scriptographer"

  • thanks
