OR you can greyscale it, then go to filter, then pixelate, then color halftone.
works like a charm.

can somebody please tell me how to change the colour of the pattern?
rainbowalike 2 years ago
One (of many) ways to do it would be to make sure you set the colours back to RGB (Image > Mode > RGB).
Then make a new "solid colour" layer in the colour you want (or overlay the original colour photo) and set it to the blend mode "Screen".
Hope that helps.

@rainbowalike you have to reconvert to grayscale first then rgb, then select the dot pattern and fill with any color you like

I can do the first few changes but after it is halftone I can not access any of the drop down menus as they are all greyed out. HELP
organdonor1962 2 years ago
It's mostly likely the Color Mode. Make sure you set it back to RGB.
Image > Mode > RGB Color

Is there an easy way to do this in colours?
Orangerad2 2 years ago
Yes - Filter > Pixelate > Color Halftone
Radius is the size of the circles then set all the channels to 0 offset.
If you want all the circles as vectors try a search for "rasterbator", which is all online. If you have Illustrator, look for "scriptographer"
