  • Now lets see the arapaima king vs the arowana king!

  • very nice fish u have there.. i wish i can afford to buy 1.. Love it..

  • I dnt understand the difference between a golden arwona or this one,i mean what is th point of spending so much money on this wen u can get one(arwona)for less than 60 dollars....CRAZY .....

  • that is one sexxi fish

  • putting a king aro in a 90 gallon, it can barely turn, if you can afford that king aro, a 220 gallon tank is only half the price of that aro, lighten up man

  • nice orange color there, most are just light orange.

  • So you have gone from defending people who breed in bred deformed fish for profit to trying to upset me and trying to attack me personally because you seem to be hurt by the truth and this has probably shattered your pathetic little world. You can belive whatever you like, as for your great feeling that i wont get far in life, i hope you feel good now knowing a bit about me. 1. Im happily married, 2. I own my own home, 3 its a big fucking home. 4. I keep many animals here and have over

  • before you go off about asians selling deformed fish you might wanna check out what western breeders are doing to cats and dogs first.

  • lmao. show me any cats or dogs that are deliberately deformed in western society for profit?

  • @yippe any dog that has a docked tail...dobermans and wiemeraners to name a few. inbreeding has also left many animals with deformities and diseases...

if you dont post nonsense you wont seem so ignorant.

  • i find it funny you think im the ignorant one. Firstly i live in AUSTRALIA and its illegal to dock any tails on any animals here. and what dogs are deformed for profit? name some? here are some fish that come from asian countries that are destroyed for profit.

    Flowerhorn

    parrot cichlid

    king arowana LMAO

synsiphilum etc etc. and maybe you should go back to school and learn the difference between line breeding, inbreeding and deformity. Moron

  • your knowledge astounds my fragile mind yippe. i dont really feel like arguing on youtube and i did assume you were american and that was small minded. its a fish though calm down a little. ...oh...and how do you go back to school when you have a PhD?...jw

  • Dogs deformed: Flat faced Pugs, American-lined German Shepherd Dogs with angulated hips, Bulldogs needing c-sections to birth. Outside of dogs? Turkeys for human consumption: such large breast meat they can no longer breed, only bred through AI. Tropical fish who can no longer breed after a certain age due to extreme fin size. Quarter Horses with tiny heads/feet and massive bodies. Try to remember, deformities are how new breeds start...

  • that would have to be one of the most ridiculous and uninformed statements ive ever read on this site. Thank you.

  • @yippe Try the munchkin cat for starters. There are others but i can't name them on top of my head. go google inbreeding of dogs by breeders too. And btw, this arowana wasn't bred specifically to have a deformity. It happens naturally when they hatch. Their backbone becomes curved as a result of of injury during hatching. So why do you claim asians are breeding if it has nothing to do with genetics?

  • @fuckyoucibaikia You sir are an idiot. You tell me too look up animals that have been deliberately deformed and state the munchkin cat. You stupid prick, the line breeding of this cats was not from a defomity but naturally occuring "genetic mutation" now go back down the page and read what i wrote to the other morons on here but apply it too yourself. Now you have done that take your own advice and "google" munchkin cats. idiot.

  • @yippe You are the idiot here. You think a natural mutation doesn't carry it's own health risks? Read more into the munchkin cat and how this deliberate breeding of this deformity is reducing the cat's quality of life. Now the deformity exhibited by the arowana here has no health risks at all. It does not effect the fish. And the biggest point is, IT'S NOT DELIBERATE. It happens by accident you dope while the munchkin's mutation is indeed deliberate.

  • It looks bored

  • what does RTG mean?

  • Red Tail Golden

  • how big is the tank??

  • very deformed spine slightly bent wouldnt even buy it not worth nothing

  • Its called a 'KING' for a reason, and this one has a VERY NICE back arch. I can't begin to imagine how much this one must be worth.

  • bull shit. dumb ass asians deform fish to make them "special". This "king" is nothing more then a deformed red arowana. Asians are slowly but surely fucking destroying the aquarium trade with hybrids and deformed fish. its fucking discusting

  • Um...ok good for you? This fish is probably worth over $5000 as I stated to the idiot that said 'it isn't worth nothing', I don't think I asked your opinion on how you felt about it. Cheers!

  • you dont need to ASK anything. If you dont want peoples opions then dont post videos on a open forum for the world to see genius. And the fact ppl are making money from a deformity has nothing to do with opinion, its fact. Look up the difference.

  • Yes, well it's called replying to the video itself not a random individual who is replying to someone elses' comment. I refuse to lower myself to fighting on the internet. Buh-bye now!

  • you're wrong, yippe. these practices and activities are practiced by all peoples. take the herp trade for e.g., rare morphs and special hybrids are, too, celebrated and can fetch hundreds of thousands of dollars.

e.g. piebald ball pythons, white tigers

  • please explain to me how im wrong? what i said was 100% accurate. And i dont see how either a piebald python and a white tiger even resemble things like this deformed aro. Or something like the parrot cichlid. do some fucking research on what your talking about before talking rubbish.

  • you're a shallow person.

a "deformity" is not exclusive to just physical appearance. a person that has three lungs is technically considered a deformity, yet appear totally fine on the outside, is not suffering from deformity?

besides, you also mentioned hybrids and the such, mr angry person.

but anyways, your point noted, but i share not much empathy with your racist remarks.

why don't you go live with the battery hens that your people depend on and then go have a clue?

  • What are you talking about? How can you compare rare colouration in animals and reptiles to breeding things to be SEVERELY deformed just to make a profit? thats shallow you ignorant prick. and what do you mean my people? who are my people? and i dont depend on anyone or anything. You dont see me sending "battery hens" out to work to pay my mortgage do you dip shit! So do me a favour and learn the english language before you try arguing in it.

  • it's really a great feeling to know that people like you don't get far in life.

anyways, since you're so adamant that "asians purportedly deform animals"... you... must be saying that this fish, has had a harness/ muzzle/ restraint/ casing on it for years as it was growing?

    a fish?

you have quite the imagination there, meat head.

oh wait, no, they mallet it to shape!

you should read up more, kid, on what goes on with white tigers, at least.

    how old are you anyways?

  • litres of fish tanks and i earn about 100k a year i have plenty of great friends and im 28. Now i wont bother replying again im going to watch my big ass TV. Enjoy your 40cent bag of rice.

  • Comment removed

  • and 100K a year is all you're ever gonna hit (passed that at 23), small fry. i bet u work very hard, huh? too bad none of the work goes into your head, since all your intellect is capable of personal attacks.

    racist piece of shit.

  • O.o 3.000? sh1t... thats mean around 2.500 euro?... what about this fish? it is Soft and die easy? or hard- strong fish?

  • USD3000

  • @kelvintherock - INR 2000 back home in India

  • the most cheap arowana is the silver arowana. i think the most expensive arowana is the chili red arowana. it cost about atleast 5000 US dollars, depending on its size.

  • Nah the brazilian arowana is the most expensive...lol

  • check out the platinum arowana!

  • damn 5000 bucks :O

  • how much is that?? and what is the most cheap arowana??

  • that fish is CRAZY

  • wow...5 star....

  • very beutiful fish...very nice!

  • omg

  • It's really a beautiful arowana. What kind of arowana is that?

  • i think it is an arrowana fish

  • That is a gorgeous arowana - I would be very proud of that fish.

  • OMG, where could you even find that fish in canada.

i haven't seen that type of arowana.

    just common arowana's.

  • wow...

    damn beautiful...

    =)

  • such beautiful posture for a king, and the intense colouration contrast between the red and green

  • I agree

  • Beautiful Arowana! I like that little parrot he is in with, can I have him? Lol, you can really see the size difference.

  • do u live in the US

  • are aro backs supposed to arch like that? I like it better when its just straight

  • this one "KING"

  • is all depends on individual preference. But the price of a aro king is more expensive than the normal.

  • i can get one of these for £40. whats the cach did i here you say its about 4 inch long and just silver. But im not aloud to get one. My tank is big enought.

  • i can get one of these for £40. whats the cach did i here you say its about 4 inch long and just silver. But im not aloud to get one. My tank is big enought.

  • a grade a super red arowana for £40 try £1000

  • Look what i said i said a baby silver Arowana.

  • Look what i said i said a baby silver Arowana.

  • nice arowana! but uhmm... i'll eat just like i ate my black arowana. hehe. tasted like a swordfish though...

  • Great colouration. Shame about the deformed spine.

  • THATS A LOTTA MONEY!

  • u guy know how big a tank is house a asian arowana??

  • That fish is the nicest king aro I have ever seen!!!! usually they look all deformed like someone beat them on the head with a bat, that one's back rises at a subtle rate, not a quick jump.

    Very nice fish!!!

  • I THINK YOU ARE GOING TO EAT IT

  • how much was he worth????? seroiusly!!!

id kill for a fish like that

  • your tank is too small, i dont think your aro is happy with that! nice fish bro! check my tank bro!

  • If thats how a king lives count me out!!

  • love this specimen

  • I am very proud to c another beautiful king aro posted from our country.Put up more video.Cheers!

  • this pcs is nice but if lookin for better arowana? please come to xiang leng. welcome.thanx

  • bullshit la....not king la..he is torturing the poor fish in a small tank and talking bullshit.bluffing to ppl...i dun think he knows what a king aro look like...sau pei la....

  • i agree with below that tank looks way to small for an arrowana.....

  • That tank looks WAY to small for an arow that big. I think its time to scale up to a bigger tank dude.

  • wow, it's got amazing color

  • Majestic fish, but I think the heart-shaped parrot fish is a genetic defect, it basically a fish with no tail.

  • they cut the tail off with sissors

  • i wonder why the heart-shaped red parrot does not catch the attention of the arrowana

  • the arowana's not hungry yet

  • this aro is worth probably about 10,000$. its probably a supper red or blood red. nice fish

  • I think arapaimas are somewhat related to Arowanas because both are bony-tounged fish. Arapaimas probably get much bigger though.

  • on wikipedia they say they are :D

  • I got a question why is it illegal to have these arowanas in the US?

  • In some countries, aro are under protected species.

  • so is this literally called an arowana king?? i really like the color on this one and im planning on gettin another aro soon... please let me know what the exact name is

  • the name is arowana king,it comes in many colors, some are chili red, blood red, cross back etc...

  • wow cool color arowana king.........

  • very niec arowana i but the pratice of cutting fish tails is cruel

  • It is champion quality, a very nice rare fish you have!

Folks, the spin is curved...making it a king....super rare fish with such colour and finnage.

The tank is a fine size, a full gravel bottom can harbour food and waste throwing water quality hence the half cover. Anything else? Freaking retards. Im off for a swim in my tropical swimming pool.

  • woww it's realy king, I am from indonesia and see many super red arowana. This is the most glowing.

I think the owner shall try to win the competition, it's champion quality.

  • beautiful aro

  • how long had u be keep this SUper nice fish? its an very nice fish.now adays it hard to c one like this at outside.. what u give eat? to make so nice? Is it an RTG or super red????? car to let me know im thinking to get one like urs. but not so big!!

  • nicklinkzelda hahahahaha no fish worth more than $500??? your a nob lol i could name a few of the top of my head

  • one guy offer 1800$ for a golden arrowana in chicago.

    mang u noob!!!

  • Thats probably because Asian Arowanas are illegal in the US...

  • what a beauty!

  • The fish is only worth about as much as it would cost to fry it. No fish is EVER worth over 500. EVER. Go ahead, dump ammonia in the tank -- it will never get sold.

  • This is a "Fa Fu Long(FFL)" Arowana otherwise translated directly in Mandarin means "Attaining Prosperity Dragon" or King Arowana as it is often called.Like Albino's this kind of deformity is readily acceptable by many hobbyist and very sought after. Some people will like them while others will loath it.Prices for a fish like this may cost at least $10,000.00 or more.

  • that one worth a lot.

  • nice aro!

  • if you sale how much I interesting

  • Gorgeous Arowana! I can't wait to get me one of those! I think they are so pretty!

  • beautiful & active Arowana ... !!! i like the shape of the body, nice perfect curve, & beautiful orange gold colour.. is one of the kind ... !!!

  • hello, that wasnt king arowana. i think the fish had accident before :). thank you.

  • beautiful one

  • You need a bigger tank ,Jackass

  • awesome colour, poor fish. thats some pretty bad spinal curve going on there...Was the fish kept in a smaller tank for way to long when it was young. What a shame to see such a beautiful fish with a deformity that could have been prevented

  • is jardini arowana a type of asian arowana?

  • its a dragon fish a different fish

  • yeah, the tank seems dirty and the spine severely deformed, not well taken cared of.

  • Never seen that color before must of feedin it pebbles.

I love the golden color of those asian arowanas. So beautiful!

  • The color is awesome! Beautiful fish!

  • so majestic i never knew they had a king arrowana!

  • ooo is it me or did that parrot cichlid is missing a tail fin?

  • Dear Anomalocaris5634, the arowana that you referring to is call arapaima and an asian adult arowana size is between 24inches to 34 inches. Arapaima belongs to the Heterotidinae family and the asian arowanas belongs to the eoglossinae family.

  • Don't arapaimas grow to 8 feet?

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • jazzman shut the fuk up. ur prob sum pride consumed asshole who needs someone to teach him a lesson. leave the kid alone

  • i agree stfu

  • look guys its important for todays kids to learn that lying is wrong - even to strangers on youtube. Don't make crazy comments unless you can back them up. so can you? Finalexinction your a little pussy and if you were here, I'd twist your head right off your shoulders.Oh, and let me teach you a lesson little boy... it's spelt Some... get an education.

  • Anomalocaris5634 your full of shit. Show us a video of this " 20 meter " long tank. What you can't?? Thought so!!!

  • I'm not! My uncle is a marine Biologist so he has tanks that big! and I can't vid myslef because I can't buy one! And i dunno where your from but you know the vancouver aquarium? MY UNLCE WORKS FOR THEM!

  • you swim in your tanks?!

    dang thats awesome.

i want to make a pond for my fish so i can swim with them also.

how much was your asian arowana?

  • It's 100 dollars(Canadian Money) And It's tank. I only have a tank that big because my uncle gave it to me.

  • An disposable camera costs all of 5 dollars.... or I suppose you can't afford one of those either? How old are you, 10?

I love it when people make bullshit claims and stupid excuses when they can't back them up....

  • I'm not 10! i'm 12 and your mean! I'm not lying! I hate liars! You wouldn't understand. No one ever believes me till they come to my house and they see for themselves. But if you don't believe me then fine. I don't care

  • Why don't you go cry in your sand pit.....

  • great looking asian!

    im addicted to arowanas.

and i wanna get a chance in taking care of an asian.

whered you get it? and how much?

  • I have an Arowana and if your getting one... be warned! They grow to about 6 or 5 feet long and if you want to keep other fish in it take a tank longer than 10 meters long and more than 6 meters wide. My Arowana is 6 feet long and he loves it when I swim in the tank with him (My Tank is 20 meters long and 13 meters wide)and my other fish don't mind either since I feed them all diff kind of food.

P.s I hand feed all of them so I need to go in my swim suit to feed them all

  • Take a vid next time you're in.

  • buy me a camera then!

  • where the fuck did you get an asian arowana

  • Poor boy! :(

  • wow its red! and FAT instead of long wow i never seen one like that i only seen silver long ones

  • doesn't the fish get lonely or something

  • man, what a half-ass job at putting those gravels. Only on a third of the tank... wtf???

  • the fish got a bit deform because the tank length is just too small

  • ^ROFL , agreed

  • nono u fuck heads they live for 20yrs and silver one are dirt cheap
