She uses her song writing to involve the listener.. The fact that she can play piano and some guitar puts her ahead of the "mockneys".. She certainly isn't a mock cockney.. She never strays into cockney, just where she has lived,. London, and the rhythms and aitches therein.. Lily Allen may well become more successful, but she has her fathers money and influence to get the big gigs.. Shame she has to try and ingratiate herself to the public with the Dick Van Dyke accent....

It's such a shame.... I can't even find videos that users had made....You tube always lets people use songs on their own videos/it's their work and as far as I know that shows you are a fan.. I just wish it was someone else and not the singer herself because it would make me change my mind about her. I really think it was so brave to sing with such a British accent while others try to make money out of American styles..but since no one knows, people usually blame the artist :(
