im sorry bro, i was gonna let this one pass me by, but i just can, first off, your tivo your problem, second, on top is the best spot seeing that all the extra bullshit under your tv wasnt gonna make room, if you want it somewhere put it there, twc hooks up the equipment, does nothing with personal shit, clean up just a tad and give the guy something to work with. twc provides a service and the means to do it, anything else is all on customer owned equipment
There are customer records for every service call that these "techs" go on. When a customer calls in and is just getting an UPGRADED CABLE BOX and not even their first cable box, and they request that nothing be moved around and to just drop off the box, it should be followed.
I got an eerily similar reply to my family guy cable tv fu#k up video! All because I mentioned in my description that my video was made entirely of glitches and that I had paid for working cable service, so the video should not be pulled for copyright issues.
The post read "On behalf of all Time Warner cable reps" and then said fu#k off and why don't I get a life and don't bother TWC reps with problems like this. Ironic because I NEVER called or complained to TWC about it! I didn't care. Liked the glitches. I Couldn't have made the video without them.

First, Time warner does not gaurentee that the installation will be to your standards. They gaurentee that the install will get done so that the service works. it you don't like it know that cable is a luxury and not nessesity. if you speaker is not where you want it, grow up, then move it to wherever you want.
