Is it possible to shorten the wheelbase to 28.7 cm (11.3 inch) instead of the stock 31.2 cm (12.3 inch) wheelbase? I want to use it as a base for my F-350 crawler but the wheelbase is too long...
I bought one of these andd i am running the novak GOAT 18.5 turn motor and ESC<, on flat steep rocks it does great and has great crawling abilities but when i get into the rough stuff the tires get pinched and the motor just strains and i have to grab it and pull it out by hand, also i have excessive temperatures at the end of each run so i bought the smallest pinion gear my hobby shop had (12T) and now i still have the same problems but with extremely slow wheel speed! any suggestions?
I have a 11t pinion on mine..No heat issues at all. the wheel speed isn't an issue for me .after all it is a crawler .try changing your motor timing ,this may get the temps down. as for the tires pinching ...mine do the same but there is enough torque to keep going and the tire straightens out.

What kind of radio are you using to be able to use the dig and rear steer? Is it an aircraft radio?
