  • "Kilmer, Clooney, Keaton, somebody make up ur minds"

JOEL U IDIOT, U CASTED KILMER AND CLOONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE

  • How is it that the real Joel Schumacher & Tommy Tune were in their 50's-60's and Liza Minnelli & Ben Vereen were in their 50's in the 1990's but in this sketch here, they r portrayed as younger people. Call me a dumbass, but is that part of the comedy?

  • Wait does he have a bat boner? Look closely

  • At least it's better then "Spider Man:Turn Off the Dark" LOL!

  • Well now we got "Spider-Man:Turn Off the Dark", thankfully Shumacher didn't do that. LOL

  • This would have been what Batman Triumphant would have looked like. Thank God it did not not get made.

  • Looks better then Spider-Man 3 atleast.

  • well my childhood was raped again

  • I was gonna mention the Robin costume looking nothing like Robin... but then I remembered that was the case in his movies too.

  • @HarryPotter87 refer to Batman Forever and Batman And Robin and you'll see why. The only non-gay thing that Joel Schumacher has made was The Client!

  • Richard Simmons doing gymnastics wearing only a pink g string while holding the rainbow flag with Elton john making love to Bernie Landon in the background on a pink rug while Ricky Martin sucks the custard out of a krispy kreme doughnut with Justin Bieber playing in the background is not as gay as Batman V! Lol!

  • Reminds me of the new Spider-man stage show. I saw that thing on Lettermen and just freaked out. WHy?

Man, I loved Amazing Spider-man comics so many years ago...

  • shouldnt it be pedo with bat and robin

  • This is the gayest thing I have ever seen

  • Its not like this parody is that different, from what Schumacher's Batman movies actually were....

  • @RichardDickGrayson the sad truth, eh?

  • @RichardDickGrayson Yes, Boy-Wonder! It would appear that our old nemesis Joel Schumacher is up to his old dirty tricks of making us look... *twitch* ... gaaaaay... His plot no doubt is to get to everyone in the Hall of Justice and turn them .... egaaay... as well! TO THE BATCAVE! O_O xD

  • Phil Lamarr (Don't know if that's the way it's spelled) does a very good Ben Vereen impression, physically and voice-wise.

  • MAD tv foretells yet another disaster (the first being Friday the 13th in space).

  • it's shwarbage

  • i dont find this all that funny...........Batman is still awesome though!

  • Bob Kane is rolling over in his grave.

  • They're really doing this; it's called Batman Live.

  • @evan1975

at least it's be more faithful to the comics than this.

  • Comment removed

  • Why is Batman actin' like he's gay?

  • so this is why they canceled the musical ...

  • so hilarious when you think about the spiderman musical!

  • I can't see why the Joel Schumacher parody character is a younger guy with fairly nice long hair. Joel Schumacher has never had nice hair, and he has never been young.

  • Ironically, this is about where the Batman franchise was heading under Schumacher. One cannot appreciate just how bad that Batman and Robin was until you watch Batman Begins and The Dark Knight

  • at least we got Christopher Nolan to thank for

  • I like this sketch, because it makes a fitting tribute to the campy-age of "Batman".

  • Joel Schumacher is like Tommy Wiseau

  • @ROy1849 At least we can enjoy and get a good laugh outta anything Wiseau makes. Joel Schumacher's Batman and Robin was so bad, I plucked out my own eyes and ended up on a hospital on Guerrerro Street.

  • @TheInstantClassic1

HAHAHA what a story Mark :D

  • Joel Schumacher the worlds greatist monster.

  • Being a Batman fan, I have to express my utter repulsion and fear at the sight of this enormous flaw in the great design (no, it was funny, I am a fan of Batman though). (I have a terrible sense of humor, don't I?)

  • Wow, gayest thing I have ever seen, and I've seen a dude self fellate and sperm in his own face.

  • @sivazh that's the point

  • 1:10 something is on your .... crouch

  • WE'RE GOIN DOWN THE BATPOLE TONIGHT!!

  • lmao @ liza minelli

  • Wow, this makes Batman & Robin look like a masterpiece.

  • @SLPIFan but it was

  • @SLPIFan I wouldn't go that far, at least these costumes don't have nipples, and theres no bat credit card.

  • Which actor is playing "Tommy Tune"? He's got quite the voice, especially at 1:14

  • Hey, its Christian Bale in Newsies. XD

  • what if the show started with batman singing a sad song about his parents getting shot that would be fuckin torture

  • As bad as Batman & Robin was, I am curious as how the next Batman would have been if Schumacher was able to do another

  • @AFMountaineer2000

well according to wikipedia, it would be called Batman Triumphant, Clooney and Chris O'Donnell would once again be the dynamic duo and they'd have the Scarecrow release toxic gas, which would somehow resurrect the Joker and Harley Quinn would be there as his daughter. (I imagine the fear gas tank to be cover in day-glo paint.)

But Joel seriously was disappointed and actually considered making a dark version of batman like in the '89 film but he was deservedly booted off.

  • @Cubekou

Deservedly? It was the damned studio's fault. The movie would've ended up like that no matter what. And if you noticed he did try to salvage what he could with some serious moments, most involving the highly underrated performance by Michael Gough as Alfred. Anyway people need to stop slamming him, and Sam Raimi for that matter, because they're both good directors who are taking the heat from jerk fans when in reality they should attack the studio who forced things on them.

  • @SLPIFan

First of all, I wasn't aware of the studio's influence on him (I did know about the case with Raimi, though) but I was aware of how Schumacher himself didn't like the movie and the fact that he took on an even brighter tone because when they did that with Batman Forever it made almost as much money as the '89 film.

To be honest, I myself actually Batman and Robin alone because I looked at it as a modern version of Adam West's Batman (but it obviously didn't go with the last 3).

  • Thi is still better than that Chris Nolan's emo-Batman.

  • Thank god they restarted Batman movies. after Batman returns it was so goofy.

  • he would do it that way too

  • Cut ... Print ... Gay :)

  • Batpole-Dancing

  • "Hey Mister villian heeeeeerrrrrreeeeeee I aaaaammmmmmm!"

  • Dave Herman, Genius.

  • What the fuck does that mean? ( below )

  • forgot the nipples on the suits LOL

  • GOIN DOWN THE BATPOLE TONIGHT

  • It Feel Gooood....Lol

  • wow i will never see batman the same way...

  • @clasik213 Kinda puts a new perspective on the whole Batman/Robin homosexual relationship joke. Dosen't it? lol

  • @sillygrl23 lol yeah it does...this made me throw away my batman suit lol

  • bob kane spinning in his grave

  • Could someone transcribe this clip?

I would like to translate it into Spanish for others who do not know English.

  • Loved The Lost Boys though. Badass movie

  • Fuck you Schumacher!

  • Yep, that's how gay Batman was when directed by Joel Schumacher.

  • Still not as gay as Batman and Robin.

  • God Damn you Shuemacher! God Damn you!

  • batman and broadway NO

    spiderman on broadway YES

  • Totally GAY! -A man wearing leather followed by i little boy in tights, kinda obvious!!!

  • Shuemacher's film was ridiculously gay. But, as "Shanethefilmmaker" noted, he made at lease 3 good films. I wouldn't say 'great' films, but good ones. Lost Boys, decent entertainment. Flatliners, the same. Phone Booth, just OK. Batman and Robin, unwatchable, vomit inducing, trash.

Fortunately, the last couple of Batman films have been good. Let's hope Hollywood learned a lessen.

This skit by Mad-TV, made at the time, caught the public's feelings, perfectly!

  • What about Falling Down?

That's one of the best movies ever made.

Batman & Robin and Forever were the way they were because of executives meddling in, wanting the movie to be PG. Stop being a douche and blaming me Joel.

  • @morbidchid - Oh, is that you, Mr. Shuemacher?

Some Directors have integrity. Some sell out for a buck. Others use their skill to make a good film, despite the interfering suits.

"Falling Down" was corny. Convenient bag'o'weapons? Gun play in a Fast Food joint, and no cops? LAWS Rocket through the freakin' sewer? Pffft! Ridiculous! I'll bet the original script was good, before you decided to, "fit it up."

I'll stop being a douche when you start making good movies.

  • Just because you don't get social commentary and think of some film as a bad action movie doesn't make it so.

The majority of movie goers would agree that Falling Down is a very good film.

The Lost Boys being his second best.

  • @morbidchid

Yeah, yeah... It's right up there with Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, Porky's II, and The Wizard of Oz.

And yes, any movie I say is bad - IS BAD!

I have that awesome power, and the World trembles at my very word! So fear me.

And if you think you can handle social commentary, try the film they ripped off, for Falling Down.

Burt Lancaster in, "The Swimmer" (1968).

  • Porky's II?

The point is that I really don't think that it's fair to blame Batman & Robin on Shumacher alone, seeing how many people destroyed it. And I'm also tired of hearing it's the worst movie ever. Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman in my opinion was so much worse, just to name one film that stands the title of 'Worst movie ever'.

Though Phantom Menace probably lives up to it's name.

I just thought it was weird that you didn't mention Falling Down as it's considered by many his best film.

  • @morbidchid - B&R was a "gay" suckfest. Just unwatchable. Joel even screwed the Batman cannon. Batgirl was Alfred's American accented niece?

There are few movies I've found unwatchable. Even,"Eraser Head". Not this one. "Lost in Space" was more watchable. So was Van Helsing. Falling Down was OK, but I felt, contrived, and overwrought.

If you want to see a great film, about a man's life falling apart in an afternoon, see "The Swimmer". (Joel did.) No silly characters or explosions, though.

  • WHAT? Joe screwed up the Batman Cannon? So, you are suggesting that there was a cannon to begin with?

Funny, I don't remember the JOKER ever killing Batman's parents.

Or of there ever being a character called Max Shreck.

The thing is, Warner Brothers destroyed the cannon. And the movie. I'm not trying to make Joel sound like a god among directors but he really did not do the downfall of Batman. When they talked about rebooting the franchise, he wanted to do a gritty BY THE COMIC version.

  • @morbidchid

Yes I am. All great myths have a cannon.

Actually, the Dark Knight series had the Joker, as Jack Napier, kill Bruce's parents. And a lot of people didn't like that.

And adding a character, in a supporting role, doesn't violate cannon. Nor does fleshing out a character's backstory. Both examples are minor.

Making B&R gay, and changing Barbara Gorden into Alfred's niece, is major, as they change the entire mythos.

Yes, Joel gets credit for destroying the franchise, for a while.

  • Wow, so, everything that was done by Burton or Nolan to change the cannon is okay, but not when Joel does it? That's cool. I didn't know that's how it worked.

And like I said, when they wanted to reboot, Joel showed up with a script based on Batman: Year One. If you have read Year One you might agree that it would have been 100% better then Begins featuring added badly done love interests and Bat Ninjas with Rah Az Ghul as Bruce's mentor.

Batman has seen worse days, I think. Bob Kane liked B&R

  • @morbidchid

Burton's film's kicked ass. Nolan knew what he was doing as well, and the reboot films were also enjoyable.

    Enjoyable.

And THAT is the BIG difference.

They weren't horrible, lame, unwatchable dreck, with gay overtones, and universally despised, ego-driven suckfests, like Batman and Robin. (Fuckin' nipples on the bat-suit, for Christ's sake!)

Don't believe me? Go to IMDB.

    841 negative reviews.

Which is why the video above, is so funny.

    Maybe you are Joel Shuemacher?

  • If you are just going to repeat yourself with nothing new to say, you can just not reply.

Batman & Robin was enjoyable as a campy comedy. Like it wanted to be. Do you also hate the 60's Batman series for not being serious?

But I'm not defending Batman & Robin, or saying it's a good movie.

But you are exaggerating a lot to hate the film more and blaming that hate on Joel.

But do what you want to do. This conversation is obviously over seeing that you have nothing new to add to it.

  • Falling down was a great movie and so was Lost Boys but Batman and robin sucked, Now kiss my Puerto Rican ass.

  • @prlad85

If you bothered to follow the thread, you'd have seen that I praised Lost Boys, as proof that Shuemacher could make a good film, when he tried.

In fact,. I said that most of his films were

    OK. Not great, but entertaining.

Falling Down, was OK, but not "great."

If you're old enough, you'd remember Joel, going on EVERY talk-show, hyping "his" Batman, as the greatest thing since Gin met Tonic. That's what this video mocks.

And you can... No. I'd rather you not kiss any part of me.

  • Oh, now I see the whole thing. I apologise.

Have a great weekend! Puerto Rican Love from New York City.

  • @prlad85

Accepted. Please enjoy the snow, and best wishes from the (at this time of year, mercifully not Guido infested) Jersey Shore.

  • No harm done. And thanks.

  • that was good, i appreciated

  • You know what they need to do? They need to make an actually Batman film. Throw out the origin stories, the romance, the rubber-bullet proof suit, and the glider, and actually do something from the comics!

  • your so right!..thatd be pritty rad for sure. and......way better of course...>.>

  • Uh is....no comment...

Looks away in shock, starts to cry.....

NOOOOO!!! Bastard Batman you ruined him...burn

  • funny thank god though for nolan/bale

  • sad thing is i enjoyed this more than shuemachers crap films

  • u guys are missing the point its about how funny they look (look at all the private places)

  • Is that Will Sasso as Liza?

  • wtf man =X this is so funny =X

  • funny as hell HAHAHA

  • what sucks is that schumacher could have done better than what he made for batman and robin. if you seen lost boys, phone booth and flatliners you'd know he would have, but didn't make batrman as dark as hell or as funny as hell.

  • Joel sucks.

  • its not his fault its wbs fault they bitched at burton for making batman too dark and not kid friendly. if schumacer had his way kiefer sutherland would be batman and it wouldn't suck as bad as it did before nolan took over.

  • you must be one of those people who likes bad movies and hates good movies

  • @skinflutey nothing can be further from the truth batman and robin was a piece of shit, all I am saying is Lost boys Phone Booth and Flatliners were schumachers true movies, and they were masterpieces, I just don't understand why Warner Bros would choose him if they wanted a more family themed batman. Plus the poor guy apologized for it so give him a break. When has a director apologized for ruining a franchise? never they move on to their next gig.

  • it was more targetted at the nolan coment. to me the nolan batmans are the best. they actually show him do detective work. plus the villans are not over the top and the bat tech. is more beliveable. now with the deep voice the problem i have with that is that he gets a lisp with the deep voice.

  • Is this real???

  • what's funny is that this even seems like a better premise than Batman and Robin.

  • This describes Joel Schumacher and his feel for the Batman movies.

Thank god there is some amazing parody of Joel (and Batman).

  • omg the bat pole lol

  • LOL This video made my day. XD

  • this is beyond redemption

  • Joel Schumacher sucks!!!!

Just watch Batman and Robin and you'll know why!!!!!

  • Ahhh,so THAT'S what the rest of the Batman musical in Batman Beyond was like.

  • COCKTail or two...:D

  • The sick part is this is probably how the Spiderman stage show will look.

  • Fortunately its canceled.

  • The fact that this never got made is one thing we can thank god for.

  • @NIN992 Marvel and Broadway do NOT mix for ANY superhero!

  • @ztslovebird That would be hilarious!

  • @HarryPotter87 I think there's still word that Spiderman is going to Broadway. *shudders*

  • @ztslovebird

I'm pretty sure it won't be nearly as gay as this. There has been a Batman musical (following the original comic design/animated series design) and it wasn't bad at all.

  • 1:58 Feels Good

    what the fuck

    wasnt expecting that HA

  • 1:58 Feels good

  • 4:00 funny how they sort of called the water contaminating plot in Batman Begins.

  • gay batman, who is supposed to play it?

  • wow, this batman is about as scary as the dark nights joker.

  • @ilikeknives133 it takes just one try, just one try. why did you do this? look at you, you look terrible....you are a disgrace to the comunity

  • @jawbreaker480 And yet...i'm the highest voted commenter

  • @ilikeknives133 i suck dicks for free

  • @jawbreaker480 What are you talking about?

  • @ilikeknives133 Even the Joker is afraid of him

  • that's just how them broadway directors be talking saying shit like "i brought to the stage" and "capture the essence" LOL...real gay and ben vereen LMFAO

  • Brodway+ Batman= Gay :)

  • my eyes!

    they BUUUUURN!

  • This isnt too far from the one with george clooney as batman.

  • looks like a masterpiece

  • now presenting Batman:The Musical playing at Gayman Theaters

  • one word gggggggggaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • so gay

  • "Thats..... horrifying"

    (Micheal Scott, The Office Pilot)

  • Joel Schumacher could have made some really good Batman movies if he would have taken the same gritty approach to the franchise as he did with Tigerland.

Tigerland was by far the best military movie I've ever seen. He made Stanly Kubric look like Uwe Boll.

  • And the lost boys.

  • Yeah, that was a badass movie, too.

  • So why couldn't Joel make Batman like that?

  • batman 5 out of the cave as outta the closet ha haha ha hadamn funny shit

  • LOL!!!, He finally came out of the cave!!!^_^

  • Fuck, I wanna see this on stage. A full play of this. :) This is fucking hillarious!

  • why is it that the people never invent a black super hero ?

  • Consider Blade he is cool!!!

  • and warmachine from ironman !! :P

  • they did its green lantern duh but dont get me wrong theres a lot of gls but there is a black superhero just to let you know

  • Static Shock dude!

  • not to mention green lantern!

  • Mr. Terrific

    Cyborg

    Vixen

    Bumblebee

    Black Lightning

There are plenty of Black heroes

  • 1:48 - 2:35 ! LMFAO

"Feels good~ feels right~ we're going down the batpole tonight" haha classic!

  • this got to be the most funniest shit I ever seen. The songs, the dance routine, LOL. I'm A shumakians.... LOL!
