@lilmissdiva01 go in with melee weapons, and just bash the common infected, and if you can get on top of the pipe you can sometimes see where the walking witches are, but basically stick towards the pipe and just run if the witch warning gets loud as fuck just run right past, if she gets a little pissed thats fine, but just dont stay too long or else she'll mess you up

Once, at the elevator in the end, a witch had walked to where the elevator was going, so she gets caught in the grate, instantly gets startled, and flies 20 feet away. She came back, incapacitates me, and my 3 AI kill her. Good thing I already had this achievement.

3:02 i tryed to get this. There was a witch there. But i ran past it. I was playing single player. And then i was just about to go into the house and i was really excited. Then it pooped up on my screen "rochelle starteld the witch" so i got kinda mad so i changed the difficulty to expert "AND THEN I PULLED OUT MY GUN!" im gonna try again now :D

Zombies aren't hard to kill, and L4D zombies don't even bite. They hit you, but unless you're a total pussy, it would be fine. But think about it. Break into anywhere you want, steal anything, kill endless zombies everyday. It would be great. Besides, you could kill yourself when things got totally hopeless, not right at the beginning

If you try this achievement by yourself, play as Ellis. I tried four times, one with each character. Whenever I didn't play as Ellis, he was the one who startled a Witch. The one time I did play as him I got the achievement.

I hated this achievement, when I was trying to get it there was a Witch sat directly in the entrance to the elevator, we had to actually startle it and have someone sacrifice themselves without killing it (You can startle them but not kill) so the rest of us could get the achievement.

EVER. first time i went through the campaign when i wasnt trying for sob story i didnt bother running past them i waited for them to move, which was a bad idea cause the witch moved over to coach and nick and they just stood there like lemons and got their asses handed to them. so yh if your ai dont get buttfucked then you're lucky.

There's one thing that isn't noted... if you startle a witch, you just don't shoot her... you only lose the achievement if the witch is killed... so just let the poor sucker die... unfortunately.

When i decided to change my difficultly from normal to advanced, i decided to do hard rain first. When i got to the sugar mill i fought it would be better not to startle any witchs and some how i manged to survive and get the acheviement!

But do you know what pisses me off? When you are walking along and hear a witch and a team mate screams REALODING or HUNTER or FIRE IN THE HOLE and startle the witch! thumbs up if you agree
