I got into an argument about this kind of thing a while ago with a girl who no undoubtedly thought I was an asshole for suggesting being gay as being a choice. Personally I am just going off neural science discoveries where gender and sex is really just a blurred concept. Think of the relationships you know where the gender roles are reversed. I even live with a gay guy and understand that it is merely an acknowledgement of a fitting counterpart. More so a sexual preference.
