  • This is a terrific little video, I have been on PB several times and really enjoyed the ride.

    Thank you for your Video.:)

  • Max5941 seems like a complete prat, the PBR is perhaps one of the best railways in the world, and if you call yourself a 'train lover' then why bag out one of the nicest trains in the world... and if u want to call it crap cause its having money troubles blame our crappy Government. Puffing Billy FOR THE WIN!!! Nice shots Les ;)

  • @Max5941 And your an idiot... Do you honestly have nothing better to do then to slag off a successful railway which attracts many tourists to Melbourne and Australia

  • @Arniek95 Puffing Billy attracts tourists to Australia? Do people fly 14 hours and spend $3000 on a plane ticket to see Puffing Billy? LOL that doesn't say much for the tourists attractions in this country. Puffing Billy is an embarassment. If you want to see impressive steam trains look at the excursions on you tube that they have in North

    America.

  • @Max5941 Umm yes I would and I have spent over $3000 on a trip to see puffling billy... As a matter of fact many people have and would spend money to visit Puffing Billy and visit many of the great attractions that Australia offers...How is Puffing Billy an embarrassment ?

  • @Arniek95 Ya I'm sure a lot of people would prefer puffing billy to, say, Disney World. Puffing Billy is lame, pathetic, dull, and really expensive for the crappy thing it is. It is hardly a tourist attraction. It may be ok for bored locals once in a while but if this is what melbourne has to offer international travellers than thats a total disgrace.

  • @Max5941 I would prefer PB to Disney World.... Its commercialized overpriced crap. You May think its lame pathetic dull and over priced but others sure as hell don't, It attracts many people from Everywhere in the world to Australia and Victoria which has other great attractions. But I guess you wouldn't know that being the dickhead you are

  • @Arniek95 Actually I live here and I'm embarassed by what we have to offer. Only simple, little people like you would think that PB is something to be proud of. And what other world class attractions, besides the world famous PB, does melbourne offer?

  • @Max5941 Well that's what you think... How does being proub about a part of Australia's transport heritage make people like myself and others simple? Maybe it's you and others who aren't proud of what they have who are simple.. Where to being on the attractions to Melbourne... You've Got Melbourne it self, Luna Park, St Kilda, The docklands. leaving Melbourne you've got the Grampians, The Goldfields, Mt Hotham and the list can go on..

  • Maybe you should think before you post your narrow minded views where their not welcome or needed

  • @Timothetoolman One of the best railways in the world"? You need to get out more.

  • @emwikts1970jh I can see why you hated this piece of crap- it's sooooo expensive too. I guess that's why it's going bankrupt

  • Not sure if @Max5941 is trolling here or just being a complete dick.

  • Are people in melbourne that hard up for something to do that they find this lame little train ride to be an attraction?

  • Max5941 Don't be so rude and dis-respectful to an old Train tradition. If you can't respect people having fun and enjoying themselves, then don't even leave a comment. And if you can't put up with a bit of 'elements' then maybe this isn't youre place.

  • @Isaac01011 If someone can't stand a negative comment then they shouldn't be posting videos. Whoever runs puffing billy may be volunteers who enjoy their hobby but that doesn't change the fact it is really lame and expensive. It is not rude and disrespectful to speak the truth.

  • @Max5941 If you think that Puffing Billy Trains are "really lame and expensive" then why are you watching the video, it should be very clear from the title what the video is about. Don't post a negative comment just for the sake of posting a negative comment. Odd are you haven't watch the video anyway.

  • Who the hell would pay $20 to ride this pathetic train? It's not even a full size train and the carriages aren't even closed to the elements. What a joke. It's really, really lame and hard to believe they charge over $20 for this crap. Are people in Melbourne that hard up for something to do that they think this ridiculous thing is worth it?

  • @Max5941 i grew up just near this train, the smells, the noises, the atmosphere, $20 is a small price to pay and worth every cent

  • @Max5941 excuse me but you are talking to a volunteer on this railway in case you haven't noticed its a tourist attraction for any enthusiasts like me also its a relaxing way to see the beautiful mountainsides, lakes and the lush grasslands all of which you can't simply appreciate. For your information millions of people ride this train every year.

  • Great video and well compiled. Thanks for the effort.

  • i got a friend that lives around there...

  • Great video Les! It's great to see the diesels running too!
