That's not what I heard, Sam. The 1/3 and the 1/2 HP motors are the same and the capacitor is what controls the horsepower. The 3/4 HP motor is a different one.
very nice, i saw that on eBay as well. now, may I ask if you could do a video on one of your older units? doesn't matter if its Sears or Liftmaster .. I'd just like to see one of your older units. Thanks for your video :)

Nice opener..totally different setup then my commander. On mine the motor is mounted towards the front, and the coupler is over top of the motor...
