Can any1 tell me the name of the theme music that is played at the end of this show...i dont knw d song name but its sum kinda african tribal music and its really nice....plz reply fast
Man, I miss Africa. There's nothing in the world being that close to ellies in that mood. Plus you'll very rarely get hurt - it's mostly all noise. This behavior is quite strange though - something has pissed them off, and considering their aggression towards the vehicle it was most probably humans. How close were you to a Safari Area? Great stuff - thanks!
We were in the middle of Moremi....not sure on exact location. As mentioned, we were following two female lions around. We then parted to go have a tea break...we were near 'an island' of vegetation. About 1km off to the right of us, these elephants came running out and trumpeting. They could not have seen our vehicle from there. We were just sitting in the direction they happened to be running through...
OK - we've been closer to the swamp and had this, and the explanation has been that often the PH's move out of the Safari Areas to shoot, which has the logical reaction from the residents - like this! Clever beasts too - they know where the boundries are!
we actually came across and elephant that was getting butchered. We thought poachers and were very nervous and left them quick. It actually was a shot elephant that went back to the park side and the local chief gave permission for the hunters to finish it off...very horrible to see all the same.
hey tokyo, great footage. Did you figure out what triggered them off? I've been to moremi 4 times, and have always either had or heard someone else getting charged, those are some crazy ellies! Soo, did you do any walking safaris there? Those are a rush...
No...thy came out the bush 1km away running and kept on going. It was an awesome experience and soooo much louder in real life. No walking safaris...always with Mike in the truck...of course get out and walk about...but he took us CLOSE CLOSE CLOSE to the animals...Mad Mike Pennman----u seen him on Animal Planet TV show? He is awesome!
Is he that crazy guy that got out on foot with the lions? Once on a night drive in Moremi, we heard a shitload of ellie going nuts in the trees, running back and forth screaming, couldn't see a damn thing though, very scary, we juat sat and listened. AFRICa rocks! How did you get hooked up with mad mike?
Yes..he is known also as the Lion Man of Botswana....we got right up to lions with him..he is amazing tracker and knows where to put you at the right time. I saw him on TV and tracked him down..he does private safaris...they are excellent. My wife and two friends went....4 of us with Mad Mike...it was amazing! Recommend him
OK, I heard on my last trip they got kicked out of Bots for some stuff they were doing with wild dogs. I'm sure they know their animals, but, they seem to take some REALLY BIG libertys and risks. Would be exciting to be there, however. Thanks for sharing.
Notice how many of them look right at the camera and cry out as they are running by. It's as if they are saying "A**holes" aka "Stupid Humans" to someone further up the road that pissed them off. // Tokyoty was probably advised to put the camera down if an elephant stopped and stared to avoid looking like he was taking aim at them through gun sight. Nice touch that you kept the camera rolling. Well done!

I was referring to what the Elephants most likely encountered just before running past the guys filming.
Poor Elephants probably just saw some Evil Poachers killed one of their family members.
Elephants usually act in this sort of manner when there is a life threatening situation around them.
PLEASE NOTE:I KNOW THE GUY SAYING "SHOOT SHOOT" WAS JUST MAKING SURE THE CAMERA WAS CAPTURING ALL THE ACTION.

What the hell are you saying " Shoot, shoot" for? What idiot would want to shoot one of these magnificent creatures?
lavender880 3 years ago
