  • The first, I know,is Johnny Dodds´Black Bottom Stompers October 8, 1927, But California Ramblers, Al. Jackson, Savoy Orpheans and Picadilly Revels Band, recorded it in 1927. Composed by Sam Coslow/Sammy Fain/Larry Spier in 1927

  • Great version...a little slower than I'm used to but VERY good! By the way Scott Black recorded it to in 1993. His was a GREAT version too but it wasn't perfect because there was NO kazoo! What the heck!??  Oh well...definitely worth listening to
