Personally, I'm tired of all these people that dislike videos just because they have an 009 Sound System song in them. I really like their music. I don't care if it's "overplayed". It's still amazing. And if people didn't "overplay" their songs, 009 Sound System would probably have a lot less fans. ;) This is one of the problems I have with YT's stupid-ass copyright infringement shit. If people put "copyright-infringing" songs on their videos, the artists get more exposure, so it's a good thing.

@latest0707 I agree. I think he means "wasted" the literal meaning of the word. Wasted is a slang term, but in actuality, getting drunk and high and such, really is wasting our bodies and our minds. So the song seems to start off sounding like a typical party type of song, but the last verse suggests that "wasted" might mean a bit more than simply getting drunk, high, etc etc

@whipism if you listen to the song it usually at first references partying but thru to the end of the song it starts to reference weapons, warfare and that humans are nothing more than things "born to be wasted". You can say that it might be relating to a soldier who is nothing more than cannon fodder or such.

Also the words you hear that plays in the middle of the song could be referencing some bible quotes, or it could be a Colonel giving orders to his soldiers.
