EXPLAINING HOW AN AIRPLANE WORKS doesn't mean no one made the airplane. Explaining how life or the universe works doesn't mean there was no Maker behind them. Natural laws explain how the order in the universe works, but mere undirected natural laws can't explain the origin of that order. I'm a Deist! I believe in a Creator. However, I do not believe in the Islamic doctrine of Angels,demons, and especially 'Gog and Magog' which is mentioned in the Quran and hadiths. GENETIC INFORMATION CANNOT HAPPEN BY CHANCE, so it's more logical to believe that genetic similarities between all forms of life are due to a common Designer who designed similar functions for similar purposes. One of the core reasons for my change from Islam to Deism is the problem of 'the Gog and Magog' usage in both the Hadiths and Quran. The meaning of 'the Gog and Magog' concerns the rebuilding of the Temple after the Jews returned from Babylon. Muslims do not bow down for a rock. Muslims pray to God and all face the kaaba, which is the central point. God is above the seven heavens on His Throne, not in a building or a rock.

I have a question for muslims: I notice in the Koran many verses start with "We", example "WE tore them (heavens and earth) apart;" Why does the Koran say we when it refers to God? Should it not just say "I" or "me"?

God in the Quran refers to Himself in the plural form (not always) to magnify Himself. It is a form of figurative speech, called the ''royal We''. This is also found in the torah. This does not mean that God is more than 1 numerically, but this is only how God refers to Himself.

The theoretical size of the universe can be expressed in exponential form, it is not like it is something that has never been conceived of or talked about. Google, for example, is one with a million zeroes. If that's not big enough. a googleplex is one with a google zeroes.

Sorry, but the reasoning here is not valid - what is the evidence for creation? You cannot start by saying creation requires a creator - you have chosen to refer to the organisms on this planet as creation, so have provided your own circular argument. Belief in a creator require believing that something complex started from nothing (the creator), so what's the issue?

@edgewayround Actually, the belief versus non-belief issue is a purely psychological one. Meaning you don't not believe because you don't find sufficient evidence, but because you don't want to.
