well i consider mine comparable to voodoo li lian v2000 (thats what voodoo uses)- $300 asus p5n32-e $300 intel quad extreme qx6800 -$1.1k gf 7950 gx2 quad (i know its out of date)-$1.2k 4gb of pny ddr2 ram - $200 samsung sata mulitwriter -$60 wd3200 - $80 creative x-fi plat $275 logitech z-5300e - $200 logitech g15 $100 mx revloution mouse - $100 thats $3815 so yes you can build a comparable rig for cheaper your self, that is with out water cooling, and without a monitor.
super pwn lol wat are u talking about. consedring the fact that a voodoo pc has sli and 2-4 grahics cards in them, and that a 8800 gt and up is voer 215 bucks, thats 500+ dollars right there. Then u need a 1000 watt power supply to have everything running at top speed which is another 350, if it is a sli ready. then the latest mother boards that every voodoo has is another 300. hmm thats over 1k already and u still need a sexy case, keybord, mouse speakers, and all the custom options voodoo has.
I hope I can afford one of those soon, and I hope I don't lose my girlfriend and job once I get it :P
