I had a US Military dentist that could roughly tell what state people were from based on their teeth because fluoride in the water prevented certain problems. If there is no data showing serious harmful effects of fluoride then why should any intelligent person take this as anything but alarmism.

The only danger is if you get it from a compound industrial source (like in sodium fluoride)and that is more common in under-developed countries like those who do not fluoridate the water.

I am from Ohio which has high fluoride usage. It also has a high amount of military personnel and instances of fluoride poisoning in Ohio were never linked to fluoride added to the water (But was linked to other sources) so your accusation is not backed by facts. The fluoride issue is extremely important but your gotta get your facts straight. Even before babies have visible teeth, they are developing them in their gums. They really do need minerals to form correctly, just not fluoride or arsenic or any other industrial waste. So don't approach these people with "babies don't have teeth" or everyone will laugh at your ignorance. The real issue is that fluoride is a neurotoxin and shouldn't be ingested by human beings, especially babies.
