  • エルシフルに関する会話のシーンに泣けました。

  • This is such a sad song yet so beautiful.

  • the shadows, they consume all. the enemy draws near. i ask nought of hatred, nought of your sacrifice, but of respect. we have fought bravely men. we honestly have. but... our glorious days of freedom are gone. the days go by quicker, the sun darker each time. those who wish to stand with me, take up your arms, for our final glorious battle as free men. slowly but surely does death take us all eventually. *unsheathes sword, holds it high* freedom for all, or death to the few... live well men....

  • Sylph Writer brought me here.

  • Greatest JRPG on a current gen console without a doubt

  • Its a shame that PS3 ToV didn't get localized atleast we are getting the OVA in English Dub

  • @TheXellotath

Yes, wrong genre for the consoles. The majority of XBOX 360 owners are American kids with limited intelligence, in other words the last person that would be interested in Tales of Vesperia, the sales speak for itself.

Rather than thinking about your pathetic allegiance to one console why don't you think about the shit it got Bandai Namco in, that is one of the reasons no more Tales games are being localized apart from Graces.

  • @brendude95 "no more Tales games are being localized" if Graces is getting localized, wouldn't that totally contradict your statement? And where did you hear that from anyway?

  • @EsperTinaVI

Its two years too late, Graces came out a while ago. Although I am grateful, we need more.

Tales of Vesperia PS3 would be my first choice. Hopefully they will localise Xillia aswell.

  • @brendude95 I think they should start from the beginning and release Tales of Phantasia Cross Edition to the market, or through PSN for PSP or the PSX version to the PSN for the PS3. Then they should release Tales of Destiny 2, which they could also release through PSN, both versions. I really hate that, how could you release the original (ToD1) but not the sequel? That's not right... doesn't help that Eternia was retardedly rename Tales of Destiny 2. Then release Rebirth, Innocence and Hearts.

  • @EsperTinaVI Hmm, now that I list all the games that have not been localised, it seems like such a long list than how I imagined it in my mind. This would be a lot of work for Namco, I doubt they would even consider such a thing, but doing such a thing would definitely boost their sales and get them out of that economic slump that they're in. If they think it's too much work, it's their fault for not releasing the games in the first place like they should have.

  • I, for one, can understand Japanese but cannot afford the ridiculous amount of money required for importation. And there are but so many games I can play through homebrew. Trying to get ToD2 to play on my computer is beyond me, I can't figure out how to use that software... ):

  • @EsperTinaVI

I was just focusing on this generation :L

Would be great if the older generation games were released aswell, would be irritating if I have to drag all my old consoles out of the attic though.

And that is so true, if Namco would just localise the games then that would generate huge sales. But that is why I drew attention to the PS3, because the JRPG fanbase is literally all on the Playstation 3, especially in North America. Not to mention SONY could publish the games for them.

  • @TheXellotath

It is GOOD there are no more tales games for the XBOX 360. Wrong genre for the consoles, it almost killed the entire franchise. You should be grateful you got Vesperia.

  • デューク戦後。

  • I want Tales of Vesperia 2!!!!!!!!!!

and it would be great if Duke is in the team would u guys agree??

  • the child of the full moon will cry and the third door shall open

  • "Child of the Full Moon, why do you stand in my way?"

  • Damn...

i feel sad when i heard this one...

epic way to begin a final boss battle...

  • when i start a tales game i put it on hard more fun if a boss put up a fight instead of owning it with mindless buttom bashing

  • Duke: We are in contradiction but our feelings for the wolrd are no different...How odd.

  • @craigofnel we'll never meet eye to eye

  • @craigofnel

Yuri: No, it's not. The future we chose... what we see for the future... is different.

  • tales is not modern or medevil its fantasy which is a whole diff genre i love all the tales games <3 im on my 3rd play through for Tales of vesp at the moment

  • Holy crap! 3rd time through? Gah . . . beat the game once, but I'm saving up my grade since I decided to chicken out and put it on easy half way into the game xD

  • wow easy? id never forgive myself if i went that low lol, First was on normal, then hard. ive only just started my 3rd im wondering if i should try unknown difficulty or not xD

  • Ha ha ~ Oh jeez, I know I should be disappointed with myself, but the boss fight at Ehmead Hill was tough so I put it on easy, and after awhile, I figured I'd just put it on that for the rest of the game. Ha ha :) Now I'm paying the price xD

Put it on unknown and tell me how it works! :D

  • I would love to do a 1/2 Experience, Unknown game on Vesperia. (Mania mode with 1/2 Exp on Symphonia was awesome, and 'Unknown' is a much harder difficulty still)

I think about doing a 1/2 EXP, Unknown game, though, but then I think... "hmm, probably should do something else with my life."

  • sorry played it on hard first and second times but then again I've played tales games before so i know what to expect.

  • third? im on my seventh

  • I love it as wellXD... I think it is more of the, ancient civilization produces more modern/futuristic technoligy. Then, it is destroyed (in general) and current time varies. It seems that they learn how to use the ancient technology slightly (slightly midevil). Oh, and love the song.

  • i would actually like to see a tales of game set in the modern time. idk why but i think it would be kinda cool.

  • Its so nice :), calming

  • Bring on Tales of Vesperia 2 I want more Adventures from Brave Vesperia

  • @BaggysAnime

same here. but what would be the idea? this is not mine, i saw a fanmade video about the opening of ToV2 and the idea of the game would be perfect that was in the description. yuri has gone missing and flynn is the main character.

  • @Youdsavedme

If Flynn ever is the main character, I'd want much more character development from Sodia.

  • @Cypher0120

    Same here.

  • @BaggysAnime I would prefer for Namco NOT to make a sequel. Yes it's really awesome to see more adventures form Brave Vesperia, but its best for the fans to ponder how the characters continue on in the future. Those feelings are what makes the game's meaning much more memorable and enjoyable.

  • @LucasHorclox and also, since all the blastia had to be given up. doesn't that make it impossible for them to use artes? so then your character wouldn't be able to use artes or namco would have to make up a way.

  • @Spaztasm Not unless they figure out how to use the newly-made mana to create their artesXD

  • @hokusai yeah, i had thought about that a couple days after posting that comment. but before making a second tales of vesperia, they should really localize the ps3 version.

  • @BaggysAnime i want to vote it up 2 times :(

  • it sounds peaceful ^^

  • Tales of Vesperia medieval? Blastia are basically Magic machines that run of aer/the varient of mana in the game. I could of sworn I saw futuristic looking guns (Barbaros) and other stuff as well.

  • The Tales series kinda like to mix in fantasy with modern things as well. Tales of the Abyss is a GREAT example of this and so is Tales of Destiny

  • None of the tales games are truly "medieval" in their settings. True, there's swords and battles and such, but did medieval peoples really have the technology to turn crystals into vast sources of power for huge technological innovations?

  • Tales of Rebirth(PS2 Japan Only) was the closest I've seen Tales get to medieval, besides Vesperia.

  • Vesperia had a huge effing battleship in it. I think Symphonia was closer to medieval than Vesperia

  • I can see what you mean about the general technology level, but I don't really think rheards and arm cannons (Forcystus) are that medieval either. To me, the most medieval Tales of game would be Phantasia, particularly in the past time frame. (aka Claus and Arche's time)

  • Symphonia had flying airplane thingies (Ryerids) and a floating city...

  • ^That's not true, Abyss had more metal than this game.

  • Lol @ you. Vesperia is far from medieval.

  • THis is good Meldoy it touches ur heart in the right place

  • Jeez the melody is to high. It can be a bit annoying. Don't enjoy this track too much.

  • Yeah...it sounds like it would be great, but some parts feel like having a cheesegrater shoved in my ear canal.

  • First Comment!!

    Love this tone :)
