It came out 5 Years after Dead Rising (2006), 3 Years after L4D (2008), 2 Years after L4D2 (2009), and a year after Dead Rising 2.(2010).

If it WASN'T better than its predecessors there would be a problem. It does look better, and it should, looks like they took the best parts of both Dead Rising and L4D and combined them.
