It has been reported that the kid's dad is Andrew Nobel and that he is a professor of statistics at UNC - Chapel Hill. Mom does not share the same last name, so unsure about her affiliation. When he came to the house the 13 year old daughter answered, and he yelled at her to a point where she felt unsafe and called her parents to tell them some guy was at their door yelling at her.
I doubt the guy electrifying the sign thought that a kid had been sent over to steal it.

I am so for Obama but this video made me laugh. Clearly the shock was more scary than harmful. But it is a crime to steal. I would have laughed harder if the kid took the McCain sign. Sorry, republicons, but you're are a bunch of losers.
If your'e gonna vote, vote for a winner. Especially one that won't embarrass you later on. I have to beleive the Republicnas have dug up nearly everything there is on Obama.

You're probably related to the crazy who lived in the woods in my town forty years ago. He wired his window with a gun and shot off the arm of a kid. Stunts have been being played with campaign signs forever and a day. Using electrical shocks on children is low. Videotaping the act and publishing it on YouTube is despicable.
