This F-ing pisses me off. He's a native american child, long hair is a part of the native american culture. (I'm a scots-irish girl, so this isn't a personal culture thing for me) I think that it is DISGUSTING to make a native american cut their hair off so they can be "socially acceptable", but school boards will pander to the mexicans and have all kinds of spanish speaking classes to cater to THEIR culture??
I absolutely agree with you...but I don't want to seclude him from everyone else. His birthday is September so he won't start kindergarten until he is six and by then it should be time to let go of the baby hair. It's not like we will chop it off or get a buzz. I think they look cute with it just long enough..especially if it is wavy or curly. I wonder what the rules are in California with the celebs and their boys long hair!
