Arcade version of Golden Axe Part 2 is comical art style, but I don't like it. I don't like the female centaur character either.

For me, Golden Axe 3 is pretty cool, although it is easier (at least for me) than Golden Axe 2, and that...well, that can make hardcore gamers disregard it ..LOL

i think the 3rd ones pretty impressive, the sprites and backgrounds look great, it has a great soundtrack and theres a shit load of new moves.

people just hate on golden axe 2 +3 because they're not made by the same guy who developed the first one.

well, i am bassing my opinion on the sega collection game that came out. 1 and 2 looked the same, but 2 had some improvements. 3 looked like it was made by an entirely different company or maybe made anew from scratch. The graphics were downgraded i thought.

i've never played the sega collection, but i saw the one for the 360 and in some of the games the textures just looked a bit blury, i think it's because they re-render them so that they can be displayed in HD...???

i'm old school so i still play em on the mega drive LOL! =)

The sega collection isnt what its cracked up to be. The 3 golden axes are the best ones they got, but they left out all the good ones. Like Road rash and Toejam and Earl. My favorite ones!!

You made it through the first half of the game flawless and without using magic. That's quite an achievement. This game is hard as hell, cheap pit routines and all.

pretty good play. I like golden axe II too and some routines are the same. Your use of the dragons is beter and therefore more effective. I play it on a emlutator. Myself posted a video of a flawless play
