I was at the show that day but chose to ignore the protest. I was hanging out with lot of the people that were there that day. They were not just college students. There were probably more homeless dropouts. That's what made up a large portion of the SF punk scene at the time. There were all of these factions though. Interesting times. People gathered around music and it was highly entertaining. Sometimes shit happened...

@jayleeb1 - The Dems were the ones in town, so that's who got protested! :-) The Republicans were in Dallas that year.
