absolutely breathtaking... What you get to see here is beyond words. Thank you so much for capturing this and sharing it with us non pilots :) Fantastic videos! thumbs up!
This view is just incredible..beautiful..i wish there was more minutes of this video..does icy mountains affect aircrafts?..like an increase in turbulence..
@1982FMJ It all depends on the winds at the time. I would say, on the typical flight I do from Boston to London or Paris, we fly over Greenland less than 5% of the time. And often when you do, it's cloudy. This was the best I had come across in the few opportunities.
I used to fly the UAL CDG to SFO and was amazed how many time people used to yell at me to close my window shade when we used to fly over the most beautiful scenery in the world..Greenland and Iceland.
Kent the Airlines should pay you for your awesome photos and clips ,because you inspire alot of people who wants to be pilots with you amazing views of the cockpit.
Awesome video < If there is one thing the I would like to do. It would be to fly in the jumpseat sometime. Your video shows Greenland in a whole different way.
My family emigrated to Canada in 1973 when I was just 8 years old (from the UK), and I remember the plane flying over Greenland, and the pilot pointing it out. Amazing! Thanks!
global warming effects will make these land of snow turning to grass. sure good for farming n dairy produces. but Native Inuits culture will be under threat. And polar bear will be push to corner of northwest greenland in 50 years. sad...
that's absurd. Greenland was much, much warmer than it is today 2000 years ago according to the ice core samples. we're talking 10-12 degrees warmer and it never melted. start listening to both sides of the science before you make ridiculous statements.
OHMG! ITS GON TERN TEW GARASS!! teh world is endin... but seriously why come on here talkin about your polar bears and melting snow? global warming aint happening. government garbage that you bought. anyways. the corner of greenland is probably just fine for them! :O!!!!
Thanks eclipse. I'll try to do that. I just added a link to the blog post that this video was made for in the description. Check it out if you want to read about this trip.
Welcome to Danish territory :)

@fly4fun i have to ask as i used to fly 757s for Monarch, do you prefer the B767 or the B757?
iloveEngland16 9 months ago
@iloveEngland16 Since we fly the 767 far less often, it was always my favorite. But it's a close vote.
